We have stayed at Mt. Elbert twice and plan to spend a week there in 2008. We have stayed in the cabins and not the B & B, so cannot comment on the B & B. The cabins are somewhat rustic but have the necessary conveniences, although no TV or phones, which is OK by us. They do have a satellite delivered form of high speed wireless internet, which, while not as fast as DSL, etc., is a lot better than dial up. Have to remember you are in a remote location, which is the attraction of the place. The folks who run it are super. If you want a relaxing, quiet, scenic retreat, this is the place. The cabins have fire rings and firewood for campfires. There are a couple restaurants in the little town of Twin Lakes about four miles away (see my review of the Nordic Inn). There are a lot of hiking and fishing opportunities in the vicinity.
