Lovely home. Very clean and well run. Breakfast was fantastic! The town is an interesting place to visit and don't miss the Highway of Legends for a very scenic drive. Would definitely return. About 31/2 hours from Boulder area.

We spent a night here last month on a whirlwind trip to Texas. It was a lovely break from the freeway-side motels prior. This historical Victorian house is on a tree-lined cobblestone street a couple of blocks from Main St in Trinidad. We had a lovely suite on the 3rd floor with a private bath, both stocked with everything one might need.

We were greeted upon arrival by one of the owners who shared his knowledge of the home's history as well as the town. We had dinner at one of his recommended restaurants where we had an excellent meal and a wonderful server, Anna.

Breakfast in the morning was delicious and filling. No one left the table hungry!

Trinidad is a lovely small town with many surviving original buildings, several art galleries and gift shops, plus a multitude of great photo opportunities.

Definitely recommend a stop over here and a stay at the Tarabino Inn.

Room Tip: Great view from the large balcony on the third floor.

Attractive Victorian, well maintained, blueberry pancakes were good. Walking distance to Rino's where we ate and to Purgatory where another client ate. King bed was comfortable. We overestimated the travel time from Dallas and arrived before the 4 PM checkin. Turned out Ok - Trinidad is an interesting old town with some brick streets and old buildings.

I recently spent two nights and would definitely stay again. The view of Trinidad from the third floor was photo worthy, The interior woodwork was just amazing and I really enjoyed seeing the gas/electric light fixtures. Excellent breakfasts, friendly & knowledgeable proprietors and very clean and comfortable rooms. Parking is on the street and I believe it could be a bit of a problem for elderly/handicapped people as there are quite a few steps to climb. Very pleasant and reasonably priced stay.

johnabq, thank you for the feedback. We would like to point out that parking on the street is an option, but we also have a parking lot on the east side of the house. It is true that navigating stairs is required to enter the house. We are always willing to help with luggage.

Good breakfast, and nicely furnished rooms. A very large turn of the century home, with alot of character. Rooms very clean, with modern conveniences. Enjoyed our stay, and would stay again. The inkeeper was knowledgeable about local restuarants and activities.

We would have liked to spend more time in Trinidad at this lovely old house. It is beautifully decorated in authentic style. The room was huge, with a comfortable lounge area, and a huge bathroom with claw footed tub/shower.
Delicious breakfast. Impeccably clean house. Friendly proprietors.
It was like a trip to grandma's house!

we stayed for 3 nights - what a beautiful place. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were fantastic. it's close to downtown Trinidad - we walked downtown and visited the resturants and art shops. the neighborhood is quiet, with some other beautiful homes nearby. the courthouse is right across the street - we took the time to make some genealogy trips over there (they were very helpful!). we will definitely return, and recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: steep steps to the 2nd and 3d floors so if you have a hard time with stairs ask about the first flo...
