I liked the hotel, but when my wife and I (both 56 years old) ordered a wine for dinner the wait-person asked to see our ID's. Of course my wife did not have hers. So I ordered two for myself and was told I could not give one to my wife and that it was state law to check all ID's for liquor sales.
I later researched the law and found out that it was the hotel's policy, not the law.
My wife and I have spent 56 years on this planet earning every wrinkle and scar on our faces. There is absolutely no way that either of us could possibly be confused with a 20 year old.
I found this situation disrespectful and demeaning, not to mention completely lacking in common sense.
I will not stay here again.
