“Just short of a 5 Star Rating!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

Stayed at hotel for 4 nights to attend my niece's wedding. Had two adjoining rooms with the kids. AMAZING STAFF, great amenities, Spa and pool were fantastic! Food, (especially the room service burgers) was delicious. Everyone was very friendly and staff went out of their way to accomodate us in every way possible. The town was great, gondolas were fun and the scenery was amazing! Would love to come back in the winter months to enjoy the winter season. The ONLY DRAWBACK was that the rooms don't have air conditioning!!!! And they don't tell you that when you check in, nor do they state it on their website. Naturally you would just expect it from a resort. And of course, it was soooo hot when we were there. I did not sleep well due to the altittude but also the room was so hot at night that it made it worse.

Although we were there for a conference, we would definitely stay there again. The room was nicely appointed and we had a balcony, which was wonderful for mountain viewing. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Our dinner at Palmyra was absolutely delicious and the restaurant location is fabulous! We are sorry we didn't have an opportunity to use the spa facilities; maybe there'll be a next time!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony! If you're there for couple time, be sure to ask for a room locate...

Thanks to Groupon we had a chance to experience Peaks. The resort was absolutely beautiful with outstanding views. The staff made us feel comfortable and at home. The food in the restaurants were outstanding and we loved the pool. Even though we don't have children we loved the slide in the indoor pool. The free gondola ride into Telluride was absolutely spectacular. I would highly recommend this property!

Room Tip: We were in 426 which has a spectacular view and incredible balcony. The only downside is that it is...

This is a beautiful hotel, everything about our stay was perfect. We booked the cheapest room available and it was great. It was spacious and the view was outstanding. I especially liked having a separate tub (big enough for two) and shower. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to return and try the restaurant and spa.

Room Tip: We booked the cheapest room available and it was great.

The Peaks Telluride was a great escape from the Arizona heat. We stayed for a long weekend. Actually, it was five nights.

We had a one bedroom suite with great mountain view, and everyone did their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

We enjoyed the workout facilities, pool area and also enjoyed going into the mainstreet of town using the gondola. The shops and restaurants were pleasant and fun to stroll thru.

Room service was great, and we enjoyed many snacks and late breakfasts.

The one thing that was strange were the number of young adults that had puppies milling around the shopping area in Telluride (downtown area). They try to look homeless, but when we inquired about them, we were told they are trust fund kids. How strange is that?

We had been here a year ago and thought we had a great time but this year was even better than the last, the staff from the valets to the front desk the bartender, restaurant manager, housekeeping everyone there made us feel like royalty.
The weather was perfect the room was a suite on the 6th floor with a view out of this world.
We had a wonderful dinner at a restaurant at the top of a 10,000+ mountain overlooking Telluride(what a sight).

Cant wait till next year.

Room Tip: corner suites are large and sunny

The location is great, the views are wonderful, the grounds also pritine. The place is a hotel/condo, so some rooms are owned and I guess rented out by the hotel when owners arent there. Ours was on the 4th floor and was very spacious. it looked like it had been refurbished recently, but there were signs whoever did the work didn't repaint some things and it had a little bit of an unfinished feel. Maybe that differs by room or maybe they weren't done with it. Our only other gripes involved the spa and pol closing at 8pm and not having poolside service in the afternoon we went to the pool - they sent the person in chanrge home because they expected rain. Also the pool area is unsupervised and a large group of noisy kds were sliding down a steep indoor slide trying to kock each other over which was un-nerving. A sign says no unsupervised kids, but no one is gcing around to find out if the parents are around - I hope the hotel has good liability insurance. Beyond those minor issues the palce is great, and the people are even better - every one of them was extremely nice and helpful.
