My husband and I stayed at Telluride Lodge this spring while in Telluride and had a great experience. The front desk was super helpful when our bags got stuck in Denver and were great at recommending restaurants around town. The room was affordable, clean and close to the mountain. I would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I were able to pull away from our busy Denver lives for a qucik five day trip down to Telluride this Spring.

In the many years I have skied in Telluride I had never seen a season like this.

Our arrival went without a hitch, and the unit was fine.

This is in no way a 5 star hotel, but neither was the price.

The location was excellent! Who wants to stay in the mt. Village anyway. The price was right and the hot tub soothed our weeary bones.

Pound for pound I find Telluride Lodge to be a perfectly good property in which to stay. It might be easy to feel inferior to other properties because Telluride is full of over built high-end luxury condo's and hotels, but as far as my wife and I are concerned Telluride Lodge offers us exactly what we want.

Location, affordability, and overall cleanliness

We had a great weekend in Telluride and the lodging was perfect!! The location and price couldnt of been any better. My husband and I along with the kids had a lovely stay and a very nice condo I might add. Being right across the street from the ski lift was a + with our family. The views of the mountain were great. We heard minimal noise which was nice considering we have small children. My family and I plan on staying here again next ski season and would reccomend it to others.

I, along with 27 other travelers from a ski club in Florida, stayed at the Telluride Lodge 3/1 - 3/8. We worked with a ski tour operator who arranged for our accomodations. We trusted in that tour operator to ensure that the lodging was of a standard that would meet reasonable expectations. Unfortunately, they did not. My wife and I, along with another couple, were originally assigned unit # 538, which was absolutely horrible....broken furniture, ceiling falling in, dorm-sized refrigerator, and simply dirty and tired. After requesting with the condo office that they move us, they showed us 2 other units that were just as bad and then ultimately moved us to a 3 BR unit (#529), which at first seemed a little better (newer furniture, full-sized refrigerator, etc...) and since we had been traveling all day, we accepted the unit. Much to our disappointment, after we had been in there a few hours we really began to notice just how filthy the unit was. Mold and mildew in the bathrooms, dirty carpet, windows that hadn't seen Windex for months, broken glass-top table on patio, dust clinging to air-vents, etc... The shower in the lower bathroom would not drain properly, leaving standing water in the tub while one showered. We complained to the office on Monday and didn't see it fixed until WEDNESDAY. The manager did NOTHING to compensate us for what was a very disappointing stay and actually denied there were any problems with the unit, when our trip leader tried to discuss with him. The manager in charge of group sales NEVER even came to view the unit and hear our complaints. Meanwhile, a group of 6 folks from our club, who only complained about the bathroom configuration, was moved to a private house that was absolutely impeccable. We were treated unfairly and unjustly and management was rude, curt, and downright in denial of any issues. Many of the units in this property should NOT be in the rental pool and the management company should force owners to upgrade their units. I would not recommend this property to anyone including my worst enemy, as it is very old, tired, and lacks basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
