“Beautiful Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

The breakfasts were out of this world and the selection and quantity were perfect.
You could not find a better breakfast in all of Telluride!
Anita is a perfect hostess and she makes everyone feel like family. When we left it was like leaving a family member! The Inn is tastefully decorated and spotless. They have gone the extra mile in every way, snacks and treats, towels for the hot tub. Even umbrellas for going into town!
The Inn is warm and centrally located, parking can be an issue. We lucked out every night and had great parking for a large truck.
The rooms are beautiful and spotless the beds are extremely comfortable.

We will book again with out any hesitation!

Room Tip: Loved the jacuzzi bath tub!

I have visited many bed and breakfasts and this was one of the best experiences. It was extremely cozy, warm, and conveniently located. Our hosts, Anita and Ray are extremely warm, welcoming, and laid back. They did not spare any details (down to the bottomless pit of peanut M&M's and the warm, sweet and salty caramel pastry that greeted us in the morning). This was my parents' first experience at a bed and breakfast and they couldn't be more satisfied. If I ever return to Telluride I will not hesitate to stay at the Wildwood Canyon Inn again! Thank you Anita and Ray!

My partner and I stayed in this B&B as part of a road trip, we found this Inn on the internet before we left the UK. It looked just like the photos.
The owner was fantastic, he told us stories over breakfast and made great suggestions on where to go in town. Despite visiting during the last few days before the town shut down for end of season and prepared for winter, it was a beautiful place to visit and the walking was brilliant.
The locals were very friendly and the micro brewery was definitely worth a visit, again the staff were brilliant.

If you are looking for a friendly place to stay that has a bed you will never want to leave then I highly recommend Ray and Anita's Inn. II have traveled in many countries and this is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed.

Room Tip: The Silver Meadows Room - best bed I have slept in, lovely room and great bath/shower.

Our trip to Telluride has been absolutely wonderful! The hospitality of Ray and Anita Cody at the Wildwood Canyon Inn is second to none. We were made to feel at home in this very personable and comfortable Inn. Anyplace in town is walking distance, even in the cold. The views are fantastic. The rooms are very comfortable with great amenities, very comforable beds, and cable TV if you need it. Ray and Anita are fantastic hosts and make you feel very relaxed. I don't believe there is a bad room in the place. The entire place is impecably clean with great furnishings. The common area and the hot tub...very nice.

We loved Wildwood Canyon Inn. It was beautiful, homey, comfortable and great breakfast. Anita was great and felt like a friend by the time we left. We took advantage of the common area upstairs to watch TV or just relax. It had a great front porch where we would sit after dinner and take in the cool mountain air. Our room was so nice and the colors were beautiful. It was only a short walk to downtown for shopping and restaurants. The gondola was also only a short walk away. We look forward to going back to visit!

Beautiful rooms and very welcoming! We did not get to meet Ray (he was traveling), but Anita was great! Very accomodating and sweet. Great breakfast and snacks out during the day/night. Nice common area to relax if you want. Short walk to downtown or gondola.

We had a reservation. We first had to park across street and when I walked into lobby I knew this was not for us. Very steep steps, sign said to remove shoes, and another sign to call the mgr to ck in. We are older and have had knee and hip replacements and there is no way we could be up and down the stairs and go up more stairs for breakfast. The mgr Anita said that was all on the web site so it was obviously my fault to book this. She kept one nite's deposit which was bit steep for what we saw and what we got at other B & Bs. Oh well - we have learned to ck things out more. This place was not welcoming. And it was bot for anyone that has any handicaps in climbing stairs. We were VERY disappointed but we found another place that is lovely and will not look back at this experience.
