So my second time to Telluride Colorado and I think we found the perfect place to stay. A condo set up with three bedrooms is easy to find. But one with the following, not so much....

Absolutely prime hospitality and helpfulness! A Telluride specialty!!

And this is without even getting to the hidden gem of a mountain yet where we have had 50 inches of snow in the last 5 days!!

I will be back!

My wife and I stayed here in February. The location is great and right in the middle of everything but still fairly quiet. Everything was first class especially the service. They went out of there way to to accommodate any request. We had a great time and will be staying here again.

If you can handle the altitude in Telluride, this is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is terrific -- friendly, knowledgeable, always willing to go out of their way. We've stayed there annually for five years. The rooms are spacious, well lit, nicely appointed, comfy beds, very clean. We've stayed in different units and while friends have expressed preferences for this floor or this view, we've been pretty darn happy with every room. The bathrooms are also pretty roomy and clean. While they might not have the must luxurious materials in the bathroom (counters aren't always granite), they are extremely high quality. We also love the common room where the concierge is located. All day there's free tea and cocoa with a dizzying assortment of Republic of Tea offerings from which to choose. We made good use of that room after skiing. But what everyone really loves about the Klammer is the incredible location. Steps from the slopes and restaurants, the ski valet is right off the snow. The pickup at Montrose airport into the garage beneath the hotel is also really convenient and a good value. We've stayed at a few other places in Telluride but they don't compare to the Klammer. Can't wait to return. Note: they allow pets (I think it is dogs under 60 lbs). So there are usually some cute pets around and if that isn't your thing, be warned! We don't bring pets but enjoy admiring them (without having to scoop, if you know what I mean)

Just returned from a ski trip with 5 friends and we all loved the Franz Klammer. Try to stay on the 5th floor, as the roofs are higher. The beds are AMAZING!!! Could have stayed there the entire holiday! There are several hot tubs spread out through the hotel. The spa is a bit inconvenient because the steam room and sauna are in the 1st floor and the treatment rooms are in the 5th, but the massages we had are seriously some of the best we have had! And we are all spa junkies. Kat and Erin were absolutely wonderful (as were Beth and the rest of the staff whose names I unfortunately dont remember). The concierge and everyone else was super friendly and helpful. The gondola is within 2 minute walking distance from the hotel main entrance. Excellent location for skiing!! Not so cool if you want to be near the restaurants. It is about a 15 minute ride in the gondola to get there. But I would say it is definitely worth staying there. The hotels in the town are smaller. I will definitely be returning next year. Thanks to everyone for making us feel at home.
