Telluride town park is a great place to hike, but there are always concerts, and festivals going on.... it is less a park, and more a venue.
My kids wanted to go there every day and play. The ducks in the pond are very friendly and the playground area was wonderful for younger kids.
This is a nice place for a stroll. I went during the Blues and Brews Fest so it was taken over but the views of the mountains are amazing. You can also park here for free.
Well-maintained park are with plenty of grass seating & enough porta-potties. Nice set-up for vendors.
This festival held in Town Park each September is one of the best events like this I have ever attended. The bands were all good and the beer tasting with over 50 regional microbrewers was a blast. Probably not really kid friendly however due to the alcohol and some marijuana being smoked in the crowd. They do have some attractions designed for children though.
