“Undiscovered (for now) restaurant gem...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

I had the distinct pleasure of dining at The Village Table while my wife and I were on a short vacation to Telluride with another couple. The four of us could not have been more pleased with the restaurant. The ambience is warm and inviting, the service friendly and attentive (as befitting this family-owned and operated restaurant!) and the food inventively prepared and delicious. A little gem of a restaurant on the mountain, an oasis from the usual resort/restaurant fare.

“Opening day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

We went for lunch on opening day--Mediterranean style restaurant, with Paella and various sandwiches. It was very good, especially for being opening day. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with a salad--both were very fresh and very good. If you hear any negative about this restaurant, please consider that they have JUST opened up, and are getting their feet under them. Again, for being opening day, I was very impressed.

“Opened in mountain village on 6/1and the food was great as was the service and price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

Visited this new restaurant just opened by a chef with over 15 years of experience in other high end telluride restaurants. Now he is a owner/ chef and his menu is fairly diverse and interesting.
Visited with my wife and friends on 6/2, a few days after their opening. Our food was great and well seasoned. I had the paella which was enough for two people. The dish was wonderfully seasoned with the right amount of saffron along with the accompanying fish, shell fish and pulled chicken. Only complaint was that the shell fish might of been put into the dish to steam a tad too soon. It didn't detract from the overall experience.
The other gentleman in our party had a combination haddock and salmon special of the night which he said was cooked to perfection but needed a small amount of extra seasoning. The accompanying side dishes were generous and tasty as well. A third person had one of the entree salads with pickled onions on top as well as the soup which she said was wonderful. The last person had a fish dish off the menu which she said was cooked to perfection along with two sides which were included with the entree. We topped Wolff our evening with four local craft brews which being a beer fanatic, I highly recommend this restaurant. given the good food and reasonable pricing it should be successful as it continues to hone its menu offerings.
