“Great food, relaxed atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

Sit back, relax and enjoy the laid back atmosphere and excellent food. We went with another couple and enjoyed the privacy of one of the almost entirely enclosed booths. The fish dip was good but the Trout was amazing. Perfectly cooked and served with a very good rice dish to keep it on the lighter side of the menu options. My husband had Chuck's chili and the Chicken club, which he said was very good. Our friends had the steak and a burger and no body had leftovers. There is also a good selection of local beers on tap with some very unique names, definitely worth a try! We thought about going back the next night but the kids wanted to join us for dinner and we didn't feel it would be a good place for them... the other patrons were a bit loud and the conversation was not kid appropriate but being a Friday night it wasn't unexpected. A weeknight with kids would probably be fine or a table far from the bar.

“Great atmosphere”

Had a very good meal here, great service, but loved the atmosphere most of all! Roasted tomatoes were very tasty and different. Salmon was good.

“Delicious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

Absolutely delicious! Appetizer was a smoked trout spread that was wonderful. Dinner was chicken pot pie that I wish I could duplicate! Service was great, the young woman very busy but really attentive.

“Close to the resort and really good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

We stopped in one evening because it was close and we didn't want to go to town. Very pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, very attentive. I had a burger and it was very good. My wife said the chili was really good and a friend had the Pot Pie and said it was great. We went back a couple of day later!!

“Delicious Local Food and a Fun Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

I ate here while staying in Mountain Village for a conference. We had a great server that was so much fun joking with us but very knowledgeable. He knew all about the food, the beer, and all types of precipitation. He even knew what graupel was! I had the elk bolognaise which was fantastic! You don't often see restaurants offer game so it was very nice. I would definitely go back if I am ever in the area again.
