Great way to get around, runs late, they have blankets if you need them, our toddler LOVED it, it's free, what else can I say? At the top of it is Allred's restaurant, what a romantic date to take the gondola there and back for a beautiful dinner with a view.
Transportation from the wonderful ski in / out hotels of Mountain Village are integrated with the town of Telluride. Sleep and ski in the Mountain Village hotels and have a free walk on gondola to transport you into the town of Tullurdie for dinner. The town offers some excellent restaurants and bars. An extension of the gondola routes to the Meadows grocery & wine store, along with a parking lot for regional homes and condos proximate to the village.
Great and affordable (as in free) way to get around while in Telluride and Mountain Village. Just allow plenty of time to get where you are going and be sure to be on by midnight. Don't forget your camera!
Rode Gondola several times as We stayed in Telluride. It provides free public access to the ski village and the lifts. The views on a clear day are breathtaking. What a great thing to have
Instead of spending money on taxis from Mountain Village to town you have a free gondola ride which is an attraction in itself available til 12 at night with cozy complimentary blankets included if you get a chill!!!
