We just got back from a week stay at MLT and stayed in a studio condo. The size was adequate with a great king size bed and dual fireplace. We were put in a handicap room so no bath tub and the shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. We also had no view and the carpet was kind of dirty! The Kitchen was nice with granite counters - cons: dirty knives in knife block and oven smoked up the entire room everytime we turned it on. Also, the only full lengthed mirror was in the bathroom next to the toilet, odd location.
The pool and hot tub were tiny, we didn't go in, it was very icy all around the area. There was a lot of water leaking into our room from ice melting so we had to deal with soaking wet towels on our bedroom floor almost the whole week we were there. They offered to move us, but by that time we had already been there a day and unpacked everything, wasn't worth the hassle. The location of the MLT was just average. It was kind of a hassle to get anywhere. We had to walk up hill (hard at such a high altitude) then walk up another hill along a path to get to the gondola to ride into Mountain Village.
The shuttle drivers were very unfriendly and one morning we were at the bottom of the slopes at a restaurant and my husband got a migraine, I called the lodge and they wouldn't even pick us up, we had to take the chair lift up to Mountain Village and call them again to come and get us. Finally they showed up then tried to drop us off at the lobby with all of our gear, I had to ask them again to take us directly to our room, then the guy just sat there and watched us struggle with all of our stuff....my husband could barely even walk he was in so much pain. Because of this, I would not go back to the ML, they were just so inconsiderate!
My advice: STAY IN MOUNTAIN VILLAGE! It is so much easier and has so many more conveniences!
