Really nice morning hike for lots of people. Not easy, but not terribly hard - a good mix. And its all downhill to home.
Really enjoyed this easy to moderate hike to the waterfall. It is a popular hike with the locals and their dogs. Flat-landers, like me, should consider the altitude when attempting any moderate hike at this elevation.
This is a beautiful trail. It will challenge non hikers, but they can make it. Hikers will not find it too easy. It takes a couple of hours. You have great views of nearby peaks and end up right at the base of a lovely waterfall. Can't ask for much more from a hike.
The 'brochure' said easy, but w/ 2 kids (aged 1 and 3) it was not easy. The kids LOVED playing by the stream though so it was well worth the effort.
It's a good warm-up, it's not difficult, but beautiful and enjoyable.You can do it after breakfast.You can do it to spend calories from the pastries you ate at "Baked in Telluride"
