Location great. ..Design of lobby and room very modern..We visited in early September. Front desk very helpful. .Matt suggested pizza at the Brown Dog .Try the "worlds best" even if you don't like pan style, it was great..Next day after a nice but basic breakfast spread we asked about Hiking...Again front desk helped by suggesting Bear Creek trail over our planned Bridal veil falls. Great trek.....Easy to moderate with a water fall you can walk right up to.

Stayed July 03rd 2013 for 2 nights in room 101.
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you upon arrival, large Queen bedroom with very large bathroom with huge bath and shower, with Flat screen TV mini hifi system, (no traffic noise). The room does not have a/c, but has a large effective fan.
Underground parking available with access to all floors via elevator, this does get full and space is tight so drive in carefully.
Generous buffet breakfast included in the rate, sip your coffee and enjoy the mountain view, great central Telluride location.
Highly recommended, will be returning again on our next trip, go and stay you will not be disappointed.

We were in Telluride for a wedding, so we had a very good rate with the wedding block. The room was great, very spacious, comfortable bed, pillows, etc and the bathroom was wonderful. It's not often I can say a hotel has a great shower, but this one did. All the amenities one would expect, and the free wifi was easy - no codes to enter or anything else, just readily available. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. We had a burned out bulb, I mentioned it to the front desk and it was fixed immediately. I am surprised in reading these reviews that there was a complimentary breakfast! I stayed in the car when my husband checked in, so possibly the clerk mentioned it, although my husband doesn't usually forget those details. Otherwise, there is no info in the rooms, or signage anywhere about breakfast. The location was perfect, walk to everything in town. During ski season, I cannot imagine a more convenient location, right next to the gondola. Our room was on the gondola side, and we did have our windows open at night because of the no a/c that others have mentioned. While we could certainly hear the gondola, I did not find it to be at all offensive. My only complaint about the room, and it's minor, was that there were no extra towels in the bathroom, just two of everything. I like an extra clean towel for drying my hair. But all in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.

Room Tip: If noise bothers you, ask for a room away from the restaurant/gondola side.

The hotel (unlike Telluride as a whole) was very pet friendly. The staff were friendly, accommodating, responsive to issues, breakfast was great, free parking, free internet and a real good place to stay. The Summer rates were particularly good value. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: If you have a dog ask for a room near the river trail at the side/back of the hotel. you have your...

Good sized rooms and bathrooms. We had a king corner unit facing town and mountains. The room has an electric fireplace and a nice balcony. The beds and pillows are terrific. Good HD TV. Lots of little things make a difference. Breakfast area with a view. Heated pool. Sauna. Seating area. Nice accessories in the bath but there is a lack of counter space. Nice easy chair but I would had preferred a loveseat. Chairs at table worn out. No refrigerator which is needed. Super location which is only 2 blocks from the Main Street and the free Gondola is right next store. Parking was below the building and very convenient. Highly recommended by us.

Although it's mountain location seems far away from a camel's habitat, Camel's Garden Hotel perfectly understands what a traveler wants.
It's top location in Telluride next to the (free) gondola makes the move from 'sleep to do' a breeze. The hotel did not save to get the basics right. Top notch pillow top beds, beautiful bathroom with oversized bath tub get you re-energized. Free breakfast with quality Starbucks coffee and Tazo tea as well as good pastries and you know this is a hotel that actually understands that these simple ingredients is what it should be about. Also included free WiFi, wide screen TV, music player, in-room fire place.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Rooms are big, and I understand all rooms are big
