We stayed in Palmyra 4D from December 24-29. We rented from Nancy via VRBO. She was very accommodating, and answered all of our questions. The bottom 2 floors of this building are retail and office. There is parking under the building, but it is my understanding that not all of the units have reserved parking (ours did).
The building is in Mountain Village, and it is walkable (in ski gear) to the "Beach" area and the slopes (gondola, lift 4 and chondola). It is not ski in/out. it sits across the street from The Peaks Resort/Spa.
We are a family of 5, including three kids ranging in age from 6 to 10. Access to the slopes at a reasonable price was our priority, and I must say that Nancy and her Palmyra unit delivered. Condo was one bedroom, plus a queen pullout and twin pullout in the living area, which did just fine for our three kids. The unit was equipped with a full kitchen, which worked well for us for the breakfasts we ate each morning (we did other meals on the mountain (lunch) or in the town (dinner). The unit was immaculately clean and modern.
We learned that parking is at quite a premium in Mountain Village, and this unit came with its own reserved parking space in the underground garage. Very handy. We didn't use the vehicle at all during the trip, but it was good to just park it and not have to worry about moving it or public parking deck commutes/hassles. Used the free gondola to get into town and back.
I would recommend this unit to a family who wants to be within walking distance (in gear) of the slopes. All of Mountain Village is pricey during the Holiday season, but this unit was a relative bargain compared to other similar accommodation in the Village, the only difference being several steps closer to the slopes and amenities which we really didn't need.
