A slopeside room for $100 (excluding taxes) during ski season? Pretty much, granted, it's not exactly ski in ski out, but it's truly slopeside. A short walk to the lift, a short walk to town.

As mentioned by other reviewers, the rooms are basic, but they're nice. The inn has all the basics - free wireless, hottub, etc. It's quiet, the rooms are well kept, really everything you could ask for. Compared to other lodging in Telluride, this is a bargain.

This place is not fancy and the rooms are not large, but I would certainly stay there again with our family of four as it provided a great basecamp for exploring downtown Telluride and taking the gondola over to the Mountain Village. The inn is right on the river as well, so there is quite a bit to like despite the very basic rooms.

I use the Mountainside Inn on a regular basis as I travel to Telluride frequently on business. The rooms are clean, the location is fantastic and the service is friendly. If you want a clean and comfortable place to stay then you should stay at The Mountainside Inn. You won't be dissapointed.

This place is in Telluride, it's cheap, and it will keep you warm and dry. No coffee maker in room, a tiny TV, etc. This is as basic as they get--Motel 6 if they would allow them in Telluride. Inexplicably, you are right on the river! If you stay during summer, you can picnic with other guests to a symphony of rushing water. The hotel does have free parking, a spa tub, and an ice machine. Our room was clean, and we didn't have any disturbance from other guests. There were some revelers outside one night (not too late), but they dispersed within 10 minutes. If you just want a place to stay, and don't want to part with too much cash, I can recommend this place. Don't go here if you are looking for even the slightest hint of lux.
