Loved all the staff, very accommodating. Front desk was very helpful and had a sense of humor. The cookies in the hotel lobby were excellent. Complimentary breakfast was delicious every morning, get the sandwich!

This is a conveniently located hotel, near the gondola that runs down to Telluride. We asked for extra bedding which was delivered while we were not there. The staff stole over $200 worth of merchandise.

Additionally, the hotel charged a daily booking fee of 12.5% (nearly $30/day), $20/day for parking, had no room service, and the room was not as described when booked (no couch, only 1 bed).

Room Tip: Avoid this place. There are better options.

This was our second stay at the Inn. The staff is beyond exceptional; helpful, but not fawning. The rooms are great and the views breathtaking. The Inn is essentially next to the gondola, so there is easy access to the town.

Room Tip: The suites on the corners are to die for; and have exceptional light

I am planning to come again. Thank you for making our stay very comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the way we were greeted by Charlie, till the last day when he walked us out, we felt special and as if we were the only guests in your hotel.
The staff had exceptional skills. Loved the smell, the water with cucumbers in the lobby, the orchids in the bathroom. Breakfast was like in no other hotel we've ever been. You thought of everything.
It was an experience that will last for a long time ... till we come again. And planning to bring friends and family with us. Thank you.

For the past ten years we have booked an anniversary stay at Telluride. Our favorite hotel was fully booked, so we gave in Inn at Lost Creek a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. It was a great stay, for less than we would have spent at our standby. Check-in was quick, warm and friendly, the room - we booked a one bedroom suite -- was cozy and had great views. The gondola cruising by at room height added some ambience. The free gondola (this hotel is in the upper village) into Telluride is a 60 second walk from the hotel. The shower was a steam shower, which I was grateful for when the hot water went out in the whole hotel before dinner one night. I felt truly bad for the nice reception staff, having to deal with all that, but they did it graciously, and adjusted our bill. The breakfast ( buffet is included) was pretty decent, and well served in a bright room. We reserved one of the two private rook top spas, and enjoyed the mountain views as we soaked. We did not get to enjoy the nice looking bar area adjacent to the asian themed restaurant, but it looked like lots of other folks were enjoying themselves. I'd say the probability of us returning is 100%.

Room Tip: 6th floor rooms have great views. Ask, though, about A/C or fan noise, which I found a distraction t...

Green Features: C'mon. If that's your hot button, stay home. This hotel's "green" policies are no better or worse than all other nice hotels.

Staff seems to be used to guests that need someone at their beck and call. I can push the elevator button myself. And I really found the dining room staff the most overbearing of all. I don't tip at a buffet when you do nothing for me. Other than the staff, it was a very nice Inn.

We loved our stay. Great location and excellent staff! We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo and it was perfect for us and our 10 month old. Dishwasher, washer/dryer and just a few minutes from the free gondola. Also great breakfast and restaurant on ground floor.
