“Great Ski trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

We stayed at the Inn for four nights and were extremely pleased. The location is great for skiers and non-skiers alike because it is right next to the free gondolas that take you to the slopes or into town. We had a one bedroom suite which was huge and well appointed with large living area with fireplace and a modern kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and our view was great. The service from the front desk to the ski valet was excellent. Overall we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and we would definitely return to The Inn at Lost Creek.

Room Tip: Upgrade to the one-bedroom suites for plenty of room.

“Great location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

Inn at lost creek had a great location. It was conveniently placed near skis areas, the free gondolas that took you to Telluride, and numerous places to eat. We enjoyed our room and was pleasantly surprised that it had such great amenities. Definitely enjoyed the fact that there was a washer and a dryer. The room was very large and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Overall, we enjoyed staying at Inn at Lost Creek and would definitely consider staying here again!

“Still Lovely...But”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

The Inn at Lost Creek has been a "flag ship" hotel with the creation of Mountain Village. The facility is plush and has a great location for skiing that is close to the Mountain Express and Meadow lifts, while being accessible to the village and Gondola. The free Gondola network provides access to Telluride and its restaurants or the Meadow markets. The car became unnecessary during our stay. Upon entry the staff took our bags to our room, our skis to the ski valet and parked our car in the underground garage.

We lodged at the Inn six years prior and the financial wows...a public foreclosure that threatened the ski season a couple of years prior...are not readily apparent in most respects. A positive is that bargains can be obtained by prepayment of rooms months in advance of the ski season though 3rd party booking agents. We stayed in a one bedroom deluxe suite that was roomy, well appointed with great views of the mountain and village. Deferred maintenance of the facility is slightly visible...admittedly I was looking for it. The staff seemed less skilled and experienced then in prior years. The "captive" restaurant, 9545 was a weak and expensive option for breakfast and is no longer open for dinner. We never visited the on site bar as it was not open at 8PM when we were interested in an after dinner cocktail upon our return from a Telluride restaurant.

We will likely return to the Inn at Lost Creek in a future ski trip to Telluride, if we are able to get advance booking values. The convenience of the location and the core facility is too plush to ignore.

Room Tip: The deluxe one bed room is roomy and comfortable, while the one bedroom rooms are small.

“Best location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

We have stayed at the Inn at Lost Creek three times because it is comfortable and convenient. Upon arrival, we are greeted by friendly staff who take our bags, deliver our skis to the ski valet and park the car in the underground garage - it is not needed for the rest of our stay! Each room in which we have stayed has a fully-stocked kitchen, TVs, one bedroom, and bathroom with steam shower and jacuzzi tub. We have enjoyed the rooftop hot tubs but they were closed on our last visit, apparently due to lack of disability access. An unfortunate discovery on our last visit was that the snowcats come down from grooming the slopes through the night, and in our room on the gondola side of the hotel, we were frequently wakened by their beeping. But the reason we keep coming back is the location - each morning our skis are right outside the door, ready to clip in and ski down to two lifts, and an easy ski back at the end of the day. Après ski, a short walk down the hill to the gondola station takes us over the mountain to Telluride and its several great restaurants. Telluride is a special place, and the Inn at Lost Creek makes us feel right at home.

“Inn at Lost Creek, position, position, position.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Inn at Lost Creek in in the Alpine Village on Telluride Mountain. The position is fantastic, being close to lifts and gondola, restaurants and shops.
The Hotel is plush, the rooms comfortable. We rented a single bedroom unit, it was small but it didn't matter as everything else made up for that. The roof top open air jacuzzi is great with views of the alpine Village.
The hotel is close enough to the gondola that catching it down to the old town of Telluride for dinner or shopping is easy and a fun way to go out for dinner.

The only thing that went wrong during our stay was that the check in staff did not inform me that they were holding $310.00 from my credit card for the three nights as a security if I used anything in the hotel. It took 15 days to get the money credited back.
