“Authentic Place for an outdoor or indoor drink”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014

Great place for a liquid lunch or apres ski activities (remember however that you have to ski down). Very authentic with an outdoor sunny deck, sheltered from the wind - we had soups which were just ok but the drinks and the views combined with live music - SUPER! The bar - very authentic, warm and welcoming.

“Great location and food on the mountain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

Never too far from where we were skiing and plenty of seating to accommodate our group. Kids loved the wraps and hamburgers.

“Great mid mountain restaurant!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

We enjoyed luch several days at Gorrono. Their food variety is excellent and the staff is quite helpful!! I would have enjoyed a salad bar, but their premade salads were good.

“Great spot for a beer, but skip the food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

The view, live music, games and all round atmosphere are great but save your appetite for the top of lift 9 at Giuseppe's the food is unbelievable for lunch at 11890 feet.
The Gorrono Ranch is great for a beer, wine or hot chocolate.

“Expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

All right. Ski food is expensive but you should get something for your money. Ate here twice for lunch. Chilli the first day. Dave's Special. It wasn't. Lacked any real spice character. They do offer a myriad of toppings. $12 was a little rich for a bowl of Chilli. Burger the next day. Was good but nothing special. Patty had been pre-cooked! I expect more for $12. They cold learn form Deer Valley or Vail. At least you get something special for your money there.
