“NO AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!!!!”

Village at Steamboat

Jul 23, 2008

Our room was so hot when we checked in @ 4PM, my wife immediately went to the temperature control on the wall and turned on----THE HEATER! Where's the air conditioner in this place? The outside temp was 90-95 in the day and 60 at night; which means we slept with doors and windows open all night to let in the cool air and closed up @ 8AM to keep the cool in. So much for security--it's a good thing that this was a friendly place, because there were no locked (or closed) doors at night. Also, there was no elevator, so we walked three flights of stairs to our room, but hey, we're athletic and our suitcases only weighed 50 pounds. This place will be great in the winter, but PLEASE buy some A-C for the summer months! The Sheraton's got it! Summer activities in Steamboat are great--hiking the mountain, river rafting, mineral springs--and the restaurants are the best. We also went to a concert at the Strings--really nice. The only place you don't want to be from 11AM to 6PM is in the HOT MOTEL ROOM.

“Very Nice Condo - Construction !”

Village at Steamboat

Jacksonville Beach, Florida
Feb 27, 2008

This is now a membership club condo.
We stayed as guests of the owners (found on craigslist) on Feb 3-6, 2008.

Very nice, remodeled fairly recently. Large rooms with nice fixtures. Full kitchen, washer/dryer.

The snowplows woke us up on the main road.

The TV in the living room was kind of small.

Big bathroom, with full tub, sun lamp.

The property was under construction, adding more buildings, but they did not bother us. The pool area was nice, but dated, and is supposed to be torn down soon.

Shuttle to the mountain was very nice - Door to door service every 20 minutes!

Gas Grills, parking in the heated garage!

After staying here, the Hampton Inn really sucked for 1 night, and it was a nice hotel!

“Nice Place”

The Village at Steamboat is a nice place with plenty to do. The room we stayed in was clean and well kept. There was some mold in the shower, but otherwise in great condition. The kitchen was well equipped and maintained. We played both racketball and ping pong and were impressed by the number of DVDs to rent. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but it was again well maintained and looked good. We would definately stay again.

“Great ski trip”

Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Just got back from a week at the village at Steamboat. Overall, a great place. The 2 bedroom unit was actually 2 floors and enough room for all. The staff was very helpful in everything. The 2 pools and hot tubs always clean and safe. A bus ran every 20 minutes to the ski area all day.

Overall I would recommend this place to any person for a family timeshare exchange.

Happy skiing!

This place is great! There are two pools, two hot tubs (one inside and one out for both), steam and sauna, game rooms. There is a great deck looking at the mountain and a fireplace for when it gets cold. We were there in August however and it got a little warm. I would suggest asking to have the room opened up on a warm day before you arrive -- if you get there in the late afternoon after the condo has been closed up all day, it will get hot and there is not air conditioning, but there is a fan.

The staff are extremely helpful and the town is fantastic!!!!
