“Rustic mountain setting with wonderful food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

Great place to eat to warm up after the slopes. Good variety of meat and fish to choose from. The two wood burning fire places are nice.

“Christmas Dinner at the Ore House”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Had reservations for Christmas Day to take advantage of the Sunset Menu. One order of Baby Back Ribs - declared delicious. A split order of the top sirloin steak - blah. No seasoning/no flavor. The bison prime rib was excellent. Steak Ore House (bacon wrapped center cut filet with crab meat and Bearnaise) was good, but not great. Service was good. Salad bar was ok. Plates were frozen together. All agreed the green beans and house potatoes were very good.

“Gotta try the potatoes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

In town for a family holiday ski trip, Ore House was one of several restaurants at which we dined. Nice atmosphere, great salad bar. Everyone enjoyed the varieties of steak. The house potatoes were the shining star – delectable. Even ordered a second round.

“Great Birthday Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

My husbanc took me out for my 45th dinner the weekend before my "actual" birthday. I suggested we check out the Ore House. I had not been there in years and was excited to see my favorite item on the menu still "Blackened Prime Rib" it was EXCELLENT as are the house potatoes.. Great dinner and outstanding service. Not something we can do frequently as it was quite pricey but.. have to remember it for our next special occassion.

“Gotta have the house potatoes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

So, I'm trying to go low-carb and the last thing I needed was a fried potatoe ball topped with cheese, but it was sooo good. I almost didn't feel guilty eating it. The service was first rate and the remainder of the meal was very good, but I would go back for those potatoes!
