We were truly disappointed with our visit after reading the GREAT reviews for the restaurant. We had a taste for Mexican food tonight so looked online for the best in Steamboat Springs, CO. We are from the Denver metro area and just visiting tonight for tomorrow's Mustang Rally and to celebrate Father's Day weekend. Upon arrival, all was off to a good start - friendly hostess at the door, seated quickly, and greeted at our table with waters, chips and salsa. We ordered an appetizer when ordering the drinks and it came within minutes to the table. Then, everything went downhill from there. I was drinking water, my husband - tea, and son - Pepsi. Our server checked with them once on refills while I filled my cup with their leftover water. 30 minutes from the time of our appetizer was how long we waiedt, at least, before we got our meal. At this point, my son had filled up on chips and the appetizer and no longer hungry, my husband was in the same boat, and well, I was just overall very disappointed with the wait and the service. The restaurant wasn't full - not empty either - not all that busy though. A table of 8 that walked in after us was served before us. Since this was our first time and first impression, I don't think we will return next year when we come to town for the Mustang Rally.
