“Don't miss it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

This is a local favorite...be prepared to wait for a table on the patio or even inside. Varied breakfast or lunch menu with the freshest food and wait staff to match. My favorite is the corned beef hash with eggs but everything is delicious here and good value.

“Like MacArthur We Will Return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

Stayed in town Steamboat Springs at the Nordic Lodge - positive review elsewhere - Creekside is across the street. Sunny wonderful morning breakfast on the deck next to the creek. I noted to the owner the menu is vicious, way too many cunning choices making it difficult to order quickly and wishing to order multiple dishes, many of which we saw delivered looked equally good to what we had. I recommend you suffer through choosing and be rewarded with your choice. As the owner stated, "we do that, so you'll come back." How true. A 2 days visit in Steamboat Springs is way too short.

“Awesome Atmosphere; Food, Lacks Flavor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Heard locals raving about this place...must be good, let's go. Had eggs Benedict with grits and a possible Latte (not a coffee sort of person, but curious). Beautiful day, happy people all around, even the servers. So? Where's the flavor? The grits? No, sir. The E.B.? Negative. The E.B. were, to borrow a line from Zappa : "a little bit cheesy; but nicely displayed".

After 3 rounds of salt and pepper and some good ole green Tabasco, well, even then the grits could not come alive, but the E.B. were fun to watch as they congealed nicely sitting on my plate. The Latte made me long for a Cuban esspresso--double. I had already had water, but this was close. All in all the price was high, and the satisfaction, hmm.

“Wonderful!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012 via mobile

This is a fantastic place! Wonderful food, service, atmosphere. We went here every morning after we tried it, couldn't pass it up. Outdoor seating, if the weather is nice, is just lovely.
