“Highly Recommended”

Trappeur's Crossing Resort and Spa

Oct 8, 2008

We stayed at Trappeur's for two nights for a wedding in September. We booked a two bedroom condo (around 800 sq ft) with some friends who were also attending the wedding.

Without a doubt I will stay at Trappeurs again. I'd love to be able to stay at Trappeurs for a week. Our condo was as comfortable as home. The bedrooms aren't large, but each had a full bathroom, which was really convenient. Our bed was wonderful! Sometimes a bad bed can ruin a vacation, but I wanted to take this bed home with me!

We utlized the kitchen several times and it was fully stocked with everything you need to cook a good meal or mix a ood drink! There's a grocery store really close by so it's easy to stock up.

The living room had a big comfy couch and several overstuffed chairs. The dining area was very accomodating to a large group (we invited a group of people over one afternnoon and there was plenty of room). We had a patio with table and chairs right off the dining area. The entire condo was well lit.

Since we stayed in September, it was still nice enough to utlize the pool and hot tub area... it was awesome.

The lodge is a 10 minute drive from old town Steamboat, but a mere two minutes to the ski slopes.

I highly recommend Trappeur's Crossing and thank our rep Kiki Soule of Resort Quest for making our weekend truly memorable.

“Trappeur's is fantastic - summer & winter”

Trappeur's Crossing Resort and Spa

Jul 14, 2008

We have stayed at Trappeur's several times over the past 2 years, during both winter and summer seasons. Our experience has been wonderful every time - the facility is first-rate, with all the amenities we expected, and a professional and very friendly staff. We definitely intend to return to Trappeur's and recommend it highly.

The backdrop to Trappeur's is the Steamboat area, a beautiful area in all seasons. We knew the ski area was a great destination resort, and we have enjoyed the wonderful slopes and snow conditions these past years. A bit of a surprise was the diversity of the summer season! Every week there are events in the area, and we have found something fun to do every trip, from hikes, to biking, to rodeos, to art and music festivals, and (of course) just relaxing.

Steamboat and Trappeur's - an amazing combination and definitely on our A-list.

“What a great place to stay.”

Trappeur's Crossing Resort and Spa

May 16, 2008

Had a great stay at Trappeurs,(a second time with Resortquest hotels.)Shared a 2 bedroom apartment with another couple. The layout gave all of us our own space and the kitchen and lounge room were both roomy too and there were plenty of appliances . The shuttle to the snow and back or anywhere in town for that matter was a great service and made it almost as easy as a ski in ski out location i.e. could go home for lunch etc.
Especially enjoyed coming back from the skifields and relaxing in one of the outdoor spas in the snow! If you weren't skiing the apartment provided a cosy spot from which view the snowy village or read a book. Would definitely be our choice of lodging next time we get a chance to go to beautiful Steamboat Springs.

“A Fantastic Place To Stay In Steamboat”

This was our first trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! We arrived via shuttle from the airport and we were welcomed by friendly staff at Trappeurs front desk. We picked up our keys to room 2105 at Trappeurs/Timberline Lodge and checked into our beautiful condo. Needless to say we were very impressed, we had big comfy beds, a great kitchen to cook big breakfasts before hitting the slopes, a nice fire place and of course our favorite place to gather snowballs……the balcony. After our 1st day of skiing we were pleasantly surprised with a free welcome reception in the hotel lobby. They offered quite a buffet of delicious appetizers, wine, and hot chocolate, my son and I ate so much we skipped dinner that night. ;) When planning this trip I was going to rent a car and a friend of mine said no need there is shuttle transportation available and he wasn’t kidding. The free shuttle service took us anywhere we wanted to go, grocery shopping, blockbuster, to the slopes of course, and my son’s favorite stop……… the Steamboat Meat and Seafood Co. to purchase elk and buffalo jerky.  We are now going to make this our annual spring break trip and will be returning to Trappeurs Crossing year after year!
