We just returned from a Christmas Vacation to Steamboat Springs, Colorado! We stayed at the Eagleridge Lodge and Townhomes and LOVED IT!!!! I'll be short and sweet. Here's why we LOVED IT!!!
1. Staff: The staff was amazing! All the way from the Front Desk, to the Shuttle Drivers to the Housekeepers! Everyone went above and beyond! They even had wine and cheese receptions, cookie decorating for the kids and Santa came to town! This staff truly cared about their guests!

2. Accomodations. Our 2 bedroom condo was well appointed and equipped. Full size kitchen. Beautiful decor.

3. Ammenities. The outdoor pool and hot tub was great. We didn't use the gym but it was nice. There was spa services!

4. Shuttles. You don't even need a car. The shuttles were there to transport us to the gondola which was super close but not a very convenient to walk. They also took us downtown all evening for shopping and dining.

5. SNOW! The snow was amazing! It snowed the whole time we were there. The lift lines are, well what lift lines? There was barely a wait.

I would reccommend this place. We will be back! In fact we are already booking. We learned it is best to book through the managing company Steamboat Resorts.

Fantastic !!! Service and amenities were top flight. We stayed in a 2BDR/2BATH Unit. Very comfortable for a family of four and all ski equipment. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The property manager provides shuttle bus service which got us everywhere, on time everytime. There is also a very nice spa (not a Red Door, but defintiely appropriate and professional), which was a welcome relief at the end of the day. Kids loved the pool, parents loved the hot tub.

Steamboat Resorts runs the property and does a very fine job with the property. We will definitely be staying here again.

We booked a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo at the Eagle Ridge Lodge through VRBO.com unit #302. It was awesome. Washer and dryer was an added bonus. We had three families staying in 3 different condos at the lodge. It worked out super. The staff was very accomodating and we had the place to ourselves as it was the last week of ski season. 4/7-4/14. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. We had access to a computer with wireless internet as well as workout facitlies. The condo was very clean and the building was well maintained. We have stayed at many places while skiing out west and this place was one of the best. The only downside was the heat. We were on the 3rd floor so we opened up the windows and had the heat turned off all week. The shuttle took us anywhere we needed to go and was at our beckon call. We would definitlely stay here again if we make it back to Steamboat. O yeah, the skiing was great too.

Everything about this condo was really nice except that it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep there.

We had a two bedroom, two bath condo in the lodge. Room had a nice kitchen, comfortable furniture, fireplace, and great atmosphere. The pool and hot tub were decent, but crowded. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The frequent shuttle was convenient, and the drivers were friendly.

The major problem was heat. We turned off all of the heat in all of the rooms, and used a fan to pull in cold winter air from the outdoors trying to cool the place down. During our active hours this was a satisfactory solution. However this solution did not work at night. Our condo was on the ground floor with the sidewalk and parking lot located right outside our windows. We were not comfortable leaving the windows open while sleeping for security reasons. Once the windows were closed, the condo heated back up quickly (with no heat source inside the condo). By 3 am we were once again miserable and sleeping was uncomfortable.

The staff was willing to move us, but the only option they had available was another ground floor condo.

The fireplace looked nice, but even with several inches of snow outside, it was for all practical purposes unusable. A fireplace and a hot room don't go together.

If you choose to stay here recommend you insist on upon receiving a 2nd floor or higher room. This will allow you to safely use your windows for cooling.
