Just finished a 5 night stay in a 3 bedroom/3 bath condo at The Lodge in Steamboat. Overall, it was pretty mediocre, not great, not terrible. In need of some updating, probably built in the 80's - the cassette tape deck wasn't working, ha, ha! Overall condo was fairly clean except the carpets which were filthy - had to bleach our socks after our stay because the bottoms were black. Hot tub and pool area were nice. Daily cleaning service of bedmaking, trash removal and towel change was good. Morning donuts provided for free were pretty poor. About a 10-15 walk uphill to SkiTime Square (nearest dining/shopping). Shuttle to skiing was very convenient - about every 5-10 minutes, but shuttle to downtown restaurants shopping and SkiTime Square were pretty inconvenient - only once an hour and didn't start until 10 AM. 1/2 block from the free bus line to downtown. Conveniently located next to small grocery market (expensive) and Terry Sports for ski rentals. For the price, probably wouldn't stay again.
