The condo at the Torian Plum was without a doubt one of the best parts of my weekend getaway. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, modern decor, nice upgrades and tasteful finishes made the condo a pleasure to spend time in. Having lived in Colorado 20+ years, most of the vacation rentals I have experienced are outdated with BAD decor, uncomfortable beds, and little to no amenities. The only drawback at the Torian for me was that it didn't take pets, and in a mountain town with lots of outdoor activities it would have been nice to bring Fido. I would GLADLY pay a non-refundable pet deposit to ensure the condo stays up to its high standards!

Thank you for having us for the Adaptive Adventures Steamboat Camp! It was my second time staying at Torian Plum and I can say it was the best lodging I got so far. Wheelchair friendly and close to the ski slopes makes Torian Plum a great place for the adaptive skiers.

I have stayed at the Torian two years in a row now and find it to be an ideal place to stay. It is easy to get in and out. I cannot say enough about how nice and helpful the people who work there are. There is private underground parking. We had laundry machines in our unit (I think they all have them but not sure on that one). There are plenty of food options within walking distance and if that does not work for you the bus picks up right in front of the lobby.

Beware of the noise! There is the Slopside Bar on one side with loud music every afternoon, the Steamboat Pub on the other side with loud patrons every night, and after that the groomers fire up so you hear diesel engines and beeping the rest of the time.
The location was OK, but not nearly as convenient as the Sheraton. Our condo was stuffy, and frankly smelled like you were staying at your grandma's house. Upholstery and carpet were tired.
The staff were extremely nice, and the sauna and hot tubs were good.
The Sheraton is the perfect hotel (stayed there the week before). I would even prefer Steamboat Grand to Torian as it has better amenities and nicer rooms, etc (have stayed there many times in the past).
Ours was a classic 80's ski condo - complete with plastic flowers everywhere, with the exception of granit countertops - not sure how they upgraded counter tops and nothing else.

Just returned from a long ski weekend with 2 friends in Steamboat. We were told that Torian Plum was ski in/out and was close to everything. This was 100% accurate. Torian Plum is made of 2 buildings. The newer one is Creekside, the one we stayed in is called Tower I believe. We were in room 304 which was a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit with a full kitchen, living room and seperate dining area. This place is certainly large enough for a family of 6...maybe even 7 ot 8 people. Our condo overlooked the Terry's Ski rentals, another store and the Slopeside Grill. We could clearly see the slopes and it was no more than a 50 yard walk to the snow where you could strap on the boots and ski down to the Gondola. The condo was well appointed but it was not new. Honestly, it was fine but I would not say it is a platinum rated place...more like gold rating. Besides, I am not even sure if they use this rating system. The temperature of the unit was easy to control because each room had its own wall heating. The unit had a gas fireplace with a timer...nice feature!! We only had 2 minor complaints...TV did not work and the hot water did not work. ResortQuest had someone at the unit within 5 minutes both times...probably within two minutes to tell the truth. Both problems were fixed easily. Torian Plum uses the ResortQuest shuttle service. This service will take you anywhere in town with a simple phone call. We used this service to go to the Grocery store and out to eat. Truthfully, Torian Plum is the best location in Steamboat. You are 50 yards from the slopes, 25 yards from The Tugboat bar and 25 yards from the Slopeside Grill (best pizza in the West!). I think we paid a little more for ResortQuest but you can always count on them getting it right. I would rate this place a 5 star except for the fact that the decor was a little outdated for a ResortQuest property. That being said, next year I will bring the entire family definitely stay at Torian Plum.
