We found our stay good. All the staff were pleasant and willing to help. Food in both the restaurant and the bar was good. Only a short walk to the slopes and the shopping mall. The room was a standard hotel room with everything you would expect. Breakfast was good and changed daily. Would come back again.

I stayed at the hotel for 8 nights. I had visited 2 years ago and was pleasantly surprised by the upgrades to the rooms. The room that I stayed in had recently been re-carpeted and the bath had been re-tiled and new granite countertops had been installed in the sink/dressing area. There was a small fridge, a small coffee maker and humidifier in the room. My request for a quiet room away from the ski slopes had been honored. For the most part my stay was quiet. There are guest laundry rooms on the 2nd floor if you need to do laundry. Breakfast is included in the room rate and I felt like the selections were varied and tasty. All of the employees I encountered were pleasant and helpful. The food at The Artisan Restaurant was tastier than I remembered on my last visit. The location with regards to skiing cannot be beat. The hotel is adjacent to the slopes, there are ski lockers conveniently located off of the lobby so that you don't have to drag your skis to your room. The only shortcoming I can identify is that the carpeting in the hallways needs to be replaced and perhaps the lobby bar area needs to be refreshed. I would not hesitate to stay at The Stonebridge Inn again. The Stonebridge is not elegant or showy but for me it is like coming home.

Pretty good!

I would rate this hotel about a 3 star.
Just about a ski in , ski out place,, about 100 yards to the ski lift

Pretty good uphill track back to the hotel, if you are in ski boots

The rooms were typical hotel with a mountain type design.
My room, and i have heard others, had a musty odor, which could be because of the carpet, although it seemed to be clean.
Some beach hotels and mountain places seem to smell if they are not built with marbel or stone. Hotel was definately a cheap design.

The continental breakfast starts at 7 am, pretty good , one morning there were hot eggs , but most morings just boiled eggs, hot oatmeal, serial and coffee pretty much free all day long.

The resturant was pretty good , but crowded at night, locals recomended it.
Nicer hotel seems to be the silvertree, and i was told the grill in the silvertree was pretty good, but very crowded.
Silvertreee is ON the lift.

I was lucky to get the room at the last minute with the x games which was not impressive at all, lots of kids.

The hotel has a free shuttle , just reserve it in advance.
The staff seemed to be pretty nice, some more knowledgeable than others, but nice.

Washer and Dryers are available

Bus stop directly in front of the hotel
Snowmass has new gondola, nice touch

I stayed there two nights July 2-3, 2007. I paid $122 per night including taxes.

Be advised that the rooms do not have air conditioning. It was quite hot on my visit, around 90 degrees outside. However, with the fan the room was tolerable and I did not have any problems sleeping.

Otherwise, the room is nicely decorated, the property is above average, and the breakfast buffet was better than average.

“Great for the ski set no doubt....”

My wife and I stayed here early July for one night when we were travelling around Colorado. We wanted to stay near Aspen so this seemed a good choice especially from a price perspective (great value compared to Aspen itself).

The hotel is set up the mountain amongst thousands of condos in what can only be descibed as a purpose built skiing village. The staff were very friendly and in the evening we had a very nice meal out on the terrace.

My problems were thus: Once you had parked up (free of charge), you really had to stay put as spaces were a premium. This meant you had to make the best of what was around you or face a very hard slog back up the mountain, and this was only to visit the small mall at the bottom (admittedly, the hotel did provide a courtesy service to get you down there).

Taking a nano second to decided that walking back up wasn't an option we realised that we were, in a sense, trapped. The hotel did have an okay looking pool, and a nice terrace bar but that was about it.

The room was too warm - no air-con - and the ceiling fan offered a little respite, but because the room had been so poorly arranged, the fan was not fully over the bed! The bathroom was also very small and not particularly inviting.

Overall, I would ceratinly recommend this hotel for a ski trip, but I do have reservations for a summer visit.
