“Excellent food. Service can be ordinary.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

We ate 4 nights ina row. Gave the menu a good workout and were not disappointed. Some staff are a little disinterested or poorly trained but the ambience of the restaurant and quality of the meals are worth overlooking this.

“What a disappointment for restaurant butagicisn great.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013 via mobile

Could not get a reservation for 6:30; had to be at 5:30. Finally got our dinner at 7:00 even though there were empty tables the whole time we were there.

Wedge salad was big enough for 3-4 people. Seafood bisc was was very tasty, but if you wanted to eat the crawfish, you had to take them out of the shell with your fingers (really upscale). The rib eye was unbelievable tough and the broccoli was cold. Server was rarely seen in the whole time we were there.

Tuesday and Thirsday nights there is a magician performing next to the bar. He is great.

Go to the show and skip the restaurant.

“Great atmosphere at The Artisan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

We ate at the bar, and had just appetisers which are plenty big enough to pass for main courses. It's a popular place and was busy with people, many of them locals. The food was tasty and well cooked, and the atmosphere was great.

“Had two great meals.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

Had two great meals here -- ordering the same thing both times -- the salmon and the chicken salad. Service was great and so was the food.

“Best Restaurant in Snowmass!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

The food was fantastic, and the service could not have been better!
The appetizers were particularly good, in fact they were SO good, I never even bothered to order main courses. They were LARGE portions, as well. Nice wines, and "Doc's Magic Show" was such a nice added touch. He is REALLy good--- the real deal. So be sure to catch it, and enjoy a glass of wine.
The food prices are also reasonable and it is a very nice atmosphere.
