Third visit to this restaurant and this time we had an issue after putting our name in with the hostess. She told us around 45 minutes and handed us our pager so we walked around just outside for 30 minutes. We came back and many tables were clearing out so we checked in with the hostess who told us we were the second two top on the list. So we ordered a beer from another waiter and sat down to wait. Once it was an hour after we first checked in with the hostess we decided to check in with the manager. He called over the hostess and found out she mistakenly crossed us off the list thinking she seated us already. The manger apologized and quickly took our order. We proceeded to pay and he said it was on the house. We told him it wasn't expected and we would like to pay but he insisted due the the problem we experienced. The meal was great and the manager recovered well so we will definitely be back on our next visit to Salida.
