“Lovely, friendly hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

We stopped here without reservations and the clerk was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us a room. The room was clean and fresh and we had a great breakfast to start us off right in the morning. We were greeted with fresh-baked cookies at check-in as well.

Well, we're so pleased that you unexpected stop was with us!! The fun thing about Rifle is that every room in the hotel has a mountain view! The cookies are always ready by check in and our guests love them. Please come see us again and have a wonderful fall season.

We had never stayed at a Hampton Inn before, decided to give this a try. The lobby was pleasant, the room well appointed and clean. Buffet breakfast was certainly more than expected, loved the artwork in the hallways. Other than that, could not figure out what the difference was between this and a Hilton Garden Inn.

Thanks so much for the nice compliment! My staff is always pleased that our guests had a nice visit with us. I think the Hampton brand is wonderful..but I may be partial!! Hilton Garden Inn's have a restaurant that Hampton does not have. They are also geared to cater to larger meetings and functions than the Hampton. They Hampton is wonderful for a one or multiple night stay. So, try some more Hampton's and you will soon see why we say we have "Hamptonality!"

Great Place, In town on business for the first time. The hotel was fairly new, clean, and the desk clerk was competent and professional. Mostly fast food restaurants around the hotel on that side of the interstate but there was one full service within walking distance. The stay and the hotel amenities was a pleasant surprise for a small town.

Yep, no one expects Rifle to be so awesome...but they find we're pretty modern!! I will confess we have more than a few long beards and buckaroos in town but they furnish the ambiance! So glad you had a nice stay..come see us again! We know some other awesome places to eat as well!
Have a wonderful fall!

Passing thru from Az, to ND, we got caught in the nasty storm passing thru Wyoming. With all of our roads closed we got stuck here for 2 nights.
The price wasn't the greatest, $109+tax.
The rooms were great, clean and comfy. My husband loved the toilets! Hilarious. Sad they didn't have a tub, as I wanted to relax after a long drive. Bed was comfy and large, we had our toddler between us.
The pool was nice, but cold (for me anyways) and no hot tub. Bummer.
Breakfast was amazing, Many options, hot, fresh, and YUMMY. Great breakfast area as well. Coffee was perfect too.
My son ended up calling 911 while playing with the phone. We were very impressed with the staff, concerned, but understanding that it was a small child. Instantly showed up at the door, seeing if everything was alright.
Overall nice stay, wish we hadn't gotten stuck in Rifle, but would stay here again if it happened one more time.

Thanks so much for the nice comments regarding your stay. Just want to add a note...a lot of the newer Hampton's have showers in rooms for the corporate guest that love the big showers...BUT..we also have rooms with tubs!! Please always feel free to ask at check in! We would love to accommodate that need as well. And that 911 call??? Well between the 911 and the elevator phone our youngest guests love to get our attention and we are all either parents or grandparents here so no one minds!!!
Come see us again...

My wife and I stayed for the nights of 14th and 27th September. Both nights were great very big beds and room was spacious, clean and very welcoming. Lovely to relax after long drives each day and with Burger King just a short drive away.....perfect for a quick meal (Note: the food stores are not on the doorstep so please don't worry about litter etc they are about a 5 min drive away) All in all we would give this 10 out of 10. Breakfast was buffet type but had so much choice...go for the waffles - perfect!!! All the staff kind and very friendly

We needed a place to stay enroute from Moab to Denver and picked out Rifle as a good option. We like Hampton Inn's in general so the Hampton Inn and Suites seemed a good option. It did not disappoint. We stayed in a suite (I think were upgraded) which was very spacious, extremely quiet, with very good amenities and a very comfortable bed. The views were pretty good--Rifle is in a scenic area along the Colorado River on I70. The service we received at the front desk was excellent--breakfast was good as well.
We had dinner as take out from an Asian restaurant in town, the Thai Chili Bistro, which was quite good.

Room Tip: Hotel is on the south side of I70 while town of Rifle is on the north. The hotel is on the south sid...

Lucky you...got to spend some time in Moab!! Isn't it awesome there? We do like that we are a great stop just before heading over the mountains! And I, too, love Thai Chili Bistro. For a little town we have some pretty neat amenities!
Come see us again...we're a great stop AFTER the mountains as well!

We were walk-ins and got the last room, actually a suite at a room price. The check-in was very fast and friendly. The hotel was very quiet considering it was sold out. The indoor pool was very clean, but a little noisy as most are if several people use them. The breakfast was good and got promptly replenished. The manager provided some helpful travel advice.
All in all a pleasant experience.

Wow, how nice of you!! We're so pleased you had a great experience at out hotel. And a quiet night makes all the difference, doesn't it! We like our location off the interstate and well, Rifle isn't really an evening "hot spot"...it's pretty calm around here! Come see us again..and have a wonderful fall season.
