I live in Rhode Island now, and, ironically (as the East Coast is much more reknowned for its pizza than Colorado), especially miss Angelo's Pizza (along with breakfast burritos, great Mexican, fish tacos, etc.) out of all restaurants in Pueblo. Although my husband I were disappointed by their pizza at their north side location, when it opened (in 2004, I believe, shortly before we moved east), we absolutely never tired of Angelo's on Union. Stellar pizza. Service and surroundings nice too, but the pizza was the deal. Greasy, but not overly and, most of all, the tomato sauce has a really fresh taste to it, with just-right helping of cheese atop it. Crusty thin crust. The meat, as another reviewer said, is great, too. After three years w/out, my husband will have some Angelo's Pizza next month, when he heads to CO to run the PP Ascent. I am jealous of the Angelo's Pizza part, not least!
