“Nice Zoo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Pueblo Zoo is small but very well laid out. It is easy to spend two or three hours wandering through the grounds enjoying the animals. The penguin exhibit is my favorite. They even post feeding times for the penguins so you are able to watch them being fed. A great time for any family.

“Great little zoo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

I've been at zoos on three continents, but this is one of my favorites. It's small, but very well kept; the lion exhibit has won awards, and the petting zoo is a kids' favorite. A bonus is that it is level with nice walking trails, so if you have trouble walking, use a wheelchair, or take a kid in a stroller, it is ideal. Parts of the zoo are historic (built in the 30s), among them the newly remodeled animal house, which features a large ship inside - a kids' favorite.

“Small but pleasant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

Although they don't have as huge aselection of animals like in big cities, it has a great variety including some rarer ones like red pandas. The zoo is very well taken care of with lovely garden areas. They have recently updated large areas and some buildings. We loved the lions, otters, rain forest area and bird pond with pelican.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012 via mobile

I visited today and absolutely loved it! The grounds are beautiful and the animals were well taken care of and very active. Definitely will go back! Also, if you want to visit a huge zoo, you might want to go to a huge city!
