“Great value!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

When we realized we would not make it to Denver at the end of the night, we called the Choice 800 number and they found us this motel. The outside doesn't look like much, but we were pleasantly surprised with the rest of our experience. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. It was an incredible value for the price! They offered a continental breakfast in the lobby but we chose to skip it and eat at a nearby Denny's so I cannot speak about the breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.

“Avoid.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

My wife and I drove into Pueblo late and found that nearly every room in the city was booked due to a large car show at the fairgrounds that weekend. This hotel had what appeared to be the last two rooms in town. One smoking and one non-smoking. We asked for the non-smoking and were charged way too much for a room that wasn't worth half the amount. The room smelled terribly. The sheets were so thin, the pattern of the mattress showed through clearly. The AC was pointed at the window and I had to position the table to force air into the room. The carpet was barely there. There was a layer of dust over everything. The walls and traffic were noisy. The ceiling showed leak damage both inside and immediately outside the door. Even the stairs were wobbly and uncertain. If I'd been able to find a room in Colorado Springs or even Denver, I'd've gotten my money back and driven another hour or two. Starting at midnight! Don't waste your money or your mood.

Room Tip: I don't know if there are any good rooms at this hotel.

“I would stay again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2012 via mobile

My room was clean and staff friendly. Room did not have hair dryer or coffee machine but there was breakfast and clerk had a hair dryer in the office. I felt safe and was quiet despite on busy thoroughfare. A good restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner also on site. For simplicity and value, stay here with confidence!

“Don't Stay Here unless you are homeless”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2012

Despite some positive reviews on this site, I would NEVER stay in this hovel again. It's right on highway 50 - lots of pavement, my vehicle is totally exposed to the highway, the outside of the hotel looks like the scene from a creepy horror film, lukewarm water - not hot, tiny rooms...

I guess that is what one gets for $50 in Pueblo. Run away!

Dear Valued Guest
Thank you for choosing Rodeway Inn Pueblo CO for your recent lodging needs. We value guest feedback and I would like to take the opportunity to apologize for your inconvenience. We have a great system here at the hotel that provides sufficient hot water to all our guests. I am not sure why you would only have luke warm water except for one instance in January when one of out gas valve to our hot water heater had gone out and we were not able to produce enough hot water. Needless to say, that issue was taken care of the same day. As your comment was made in March, i dont think you would have stayed with us then however we would like for you to contact us at the hotel and give us the room number you occupied so we can check to see if their is another problem that we are not aware of. I am a little confussed on the fact that you state our hotel looks like something from a creepy horror film and only should stay here if one is to be homeless. Our hotel looks exactly as it does in the online picture as it did when you checked into our wonderful hotel. As far as your vehicle being exposed to the highway is another comment of yours that im not sure what it means. Yes our hotel is conveniently located off W US Highway 50, however half off our parking lot is on the rear between the hotel and a dirt field, on the front parking is between the hotel and a restaurant on site, followed by parking for the restaurant, followed by a frontage road, followed by a concrete barrier prior to being exposed to Highway 50. At your convenience please contact me at the hotel directly at (719) 583-0333 or email me at Rodewayinn.pueblo@gmail.com so i may address any concerns you had and once again i applogize we were not able to meet your needs.

“Safe, quiet and convenient”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

The Rodeway Inn in Pueblo, CO is a safe and quiet alternative for a night or extended stay. The location is ideal for the Northside restaurants and stores, the main US Post Office and much more. A light continental breakfast is offered and there is a guest laundry on-site. We stayed there for nearly three months and were quite pleased with our room as well as the peaceful atmosphere. We knew that when we went in to the room we would not be disturbed by anyone. This was very important to us because we had a serious illness in the family and we needed that no-stress zone. There are some great views from the third floor balcony including Pike's Peak in the day and some of Pueblo's city lights at night- don't worry there is an elevator.
