There is so much to do -- the zoo, tennis courts, golf course, etc! If you are nearby, I recommend just driving through (it is a one-way road around the perimeter). Very charming!
We chose to hike on the city trail that runs south/west of town and viewed a very nice 'raptor center' located at the trail head. Clean, neat and not crowed...bikes allowed.
Our grandkids come from Ca every summer, one of the traditions is
to take fried chicken to the park, go through the zoo and ride the rides.
Especially the very old refurbished merry go round.
a beautiful park, nice zoo right by it, and rides for the little children. also a pool. great place for anyone. oh dogs too! there is a dog park
Great area. Has plenty to do for the family. Nice big open area to walk/run around in. Plenty of room for the family dog to stretch their legs and run also. Kiddie rides for the little ones, Pueblo Zoo right there on property. Cool community pool with great waterslide. Fun for the family.
