“Hopefully never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2012

Had to stay at this hotel for State Basketball. Never again will I do this, I would rather drive to Springs than have to stay here. Rooms weren't very clean, walls were paper thin, beds were horrible, rooms were HOT and smelled terrible.... and it had some painting done to the halls and door ways. The masking tape was STILL on the door jams and running down the lengths of the hallways and the carpets were filthly as if they were still painting. AND did I mention the train. Breakfast was horrible as well, PLUS they charged us $90 to stay in this dump. I will never stay at this hotel again.

We are sincerely sorry that you had such a bad experience at our hotel. Also we wish we would have been giving the opportunity to serve you better and rectify any and all of your discomfort. All at Sleep Inn Pueblo hope others will realize these problems are grossly exaggerated in this post for reasons undisclosed here.

Hotel is in a hole between several major roads. Walls so thin I could hear the guy in the next room snoring all night. Train track 30 ft from east side of building. If must stay, make sure you are on west side. Very overpriced....worth driving to the next town to avoid. Grounds were dirty.

We drove up with a coupon (on the road again). Don't stay here, the hotel is on a train track and the trains run all night. Noisy. Just don't stay here, go somewhere else. If you don't care about noise it is not bad.

  • Liked — Decent room, very good breakfast
  • Disliked — Noisy train track

Don't stay unless you are hard of hearing. According to the front desk my room is a quiet room. It looks down on a train track which I now know is busy every few hours all night. Some trains blow their horns, some do not. I suspect the walls are thin since I have heard my neighbor's cellphone vibrate and a woman down the hall that has a minor cough.

The hotel is a relatively new looking low end hotel. My room is basic with mattresses that sag in the middle, the vanity in the room, and a pocket door to the bathroom. The television offers only basic cable plus HBO. There is no tub but the shower is spacious. The toilet is looking worn and mine gurgles. After a careful check, the sheets look clean with a very thin blanket. Overall an okay low end hotel built on a horrible lot.

This place was horrible. The rooms are tiny, the bathroom door is a sliding door, there was no bath tub in the room only a shower. There were rat droppings in the air conditioner and it smelled horrible! The walls were so thin we could hear the tv in the room next to us. The customer service was horrible and I would never stay there again if they let me stay for free!

Don't stay at this hotel if you are looking for a good night sleep. The east side of the hotel (1/2) of the rooms are literally 75' from the railroad tracks. The train zooms through town several times during the day and night - IT IS VERY LOUD!!! This is a terrible location for a hotel. Staff, especially gal who worked in the breakfast area were very rude. The pool was very cold and the rooms have very thin walls. Stay away from this hotel.
