“Easy Access and Convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

I thought the hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful. A request to replace some light bulbs was immediate. Our room was next to the freeway but very quiet. Our buffet breakfast was plentiful and typical for a breakfast. We would stay here again it was located in convenient area near several restaurants within walking distance.

Room Tip: Our room was next to the free way, and extremely quiet

Picked this hotel after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. The hotel was easy to find, just off the interstate.

Check in was friendly and quick and we were into our room very quickly. The spacious suite was a little dark, and did not seem that new. However, it suited our needs. The riverwalk was a short walk away, so we took a walk along it.

The receptionist recommended a local restaurant, Shamrock BrewingCompany, which was a couple of blocks away and so within walking distance.

Bed was very comfortable, and despite the proximity to the interstate we heard very little noise.

Got up early for a swim, but the pool was undergoing maintenance, so sadly I could not get my morning swim.

Complimentary breakfast service was good, with an excellent range of breakfast options.

You can decide..
First of all... Nice, modem hotel..
We had ordered via reservation via calling and had requested a king size. We arrived late and a very sleepy gentleman informed us that they had no additional king size beds. He offered no other possible solutions so we took the room.
I was shocked... Beautiful room! But.. There was paint all over the new carpet. The baseboard molding had not been installed so the paint was streaked and messy at the floor area. Our bathroom had long hair on the vanity sink that wasn't ours. Just looked like it wasn't cleaned well. The headboard had paint splattered on it. I would guess the director of ops hasn't inspected room 414 but she needs to. I work in operations and can tell you... I'd be livid over the finished product that I saw. It is such a nice room other than those things. Makes you wonder if the GM just overlooks simple things like properly washing cups in the room, vacuuming, are they really changing the bedding? Do they really clean the bathroom?

Dear Tina I,
Thank you for taking the time to submit your honest review and I apologize for any inconvenience encountered during your stay. You are correct, we are currently undergoing a renovation in which new paint, carpet and wallpaper is being installed in stages. I hope that you will stay with us again once the renovation is complete so that you may enjoy the finished product.

An excellent new hotel in downtown Pueblo off the I-125 Interstate in downtown Pueblo within a few minutes walking distance of the Riverwalk and historic Pueblo.

The room was spacious and clean. There was a living room area with a writing desk, TV with audio/video inputs mounted on the wall, fridge and coffeemaker. There was a glazed glass dividers partially separating the bedroom area which also had its on TV. Wifi was free as was ample parking. At 5pm the bar opens.

Breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs, ham, self-made waffles and assorted pastries with coffee and juices. There is an indoor pool and outdoor picnic area.

Overall, excellent value for your money--great location and close to downtown attractions.

I've been coming here since it was a new Cambria Suites (08'). This a great option for people who want space or need the amenities offered: 2 room suite w/pullout couch. Fridge, micro, in-room coffee, generous work-space with plenty of outlets, 2 tv's, spa like bathroom. They offer a hot breakfast. It is your standard buffet fare that is free to all (powdered eggs and sausage, ham or bacon). Carb lovers and paleo's will find something to power them up for the day and all is offered until 930am (even on weekdays; yeah!).

The hotel is in the middle of a room remodel of carpet and wallpaper. Others complained about bedding, but my bed was fab and new. I also was worried about noise level as I was put on the highway side (a first for me). It was still very quiet!

One thing I would DESPERATELY ask the hotel to do (and i think this has been mentioned in other reviews), find a new coffee supplier! This is as bad or worse than any cheap in-room coffee. It's the start of your day and really makes a difference in how everything goes from there. Make this part one of the best.

For those complaining of the area, don't.. This is one of the coolest parts of town with unique downtown restaurants and dining experiences. There are several great bars with good food (esp. Shamrock). PrimeTime Sports Bar has 2-for-1 beer most nights with decent bar food and plenty of games playing. Chinese, thai, mexican.. It's all here!

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper ask for top floor so you have no elephants above you

Wife and I stayed here just one night in March 2015. Staff was very nice upon checkin. Had a drink at the bar before going to a wedding reception. Bartender was excellent and very personable. Rooms were clean, quiet and nicely laid out. If I need to stay in pueblo again, its where I'll stay. Was also walking distance from quite a few restaurants and bars. We did eat breakfast there in the morning before leaving - it wasn't bad for a quick buffet (eggs, sausage, fruit, waffles, bagels, etc.).
