“The Best B&B on the Western Slope!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2011

A DiVine Thyme Bed and Breakfast is a true gem located in the middle of wine country on the beautiful western slope of Colorado! This historic Victorian Inn is gorgeous and beautifully decorated in every respect. The owners are delightful! Cathy is an amazing cook and a wonderful hostess! In our five visits to A DiVine Thyme, we have never been disapointed! If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to relax and unwind, hike, raft and explore or ride bikes from winery to winery, A DiVine Thyme is the place to be! We have and continue to refer friends and family to this wonderful B&B! The Wright's.

We came for a three day visit and anniversary celebration in the hottest time of the summer. We were very pleased with our cool and breezy room (evaporative cooler), and the wonderful morning breezes that came down the canyon. The breakfasts were grand, company was excellent, and Cathy, Tom and Bogart are superb hosts. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings and evenings.
What more could you ask. We hope to be back soon.

What can we say ... our hosts were delightful (Cathy and Tom), the breakfasts "delicious", the hot tub "relaxing", and the atmosphere of a restored 100 year old house "amazing". The character of the house is maintained but with all the amenities of a new home. The parlor for relaxing or playing a board game makes one feel right at home. The dining area is cozy and delightful ... you can mingle or have a quiet breakfast on your own. The patio off the porch (with the wonderful wood ceiling...yes...it is wood) or the gazebo out back (with a view of the Bookcliffs) offer a place to relax, visit, have a glass of wine, or read a book (all of which we did). The views are amazing and the hospitality and well appointed rooms offer a most enjoyable visit. We were on a "girls' weekend get-away - Cathy provided information on wineries, shopping, dining out, and hiking that was informative and appreciated! Now...we want to bring our husbands back to enjoy a romantic weekend. We are already planning our next visit! The scenery and atmosphere are just what is needed to rejuvenate and restore our hectic lives. Enjoy .....

We visit Palisade three to four times a year and always spend at least one night at this B&B. And every time, the room, the service, the atmosphere, and the breakfast are nothing less than perfect. Our hosts are very accommodating and a pleasure to visit with. Their advice on places to visit and things to see have always been dead on. And their location is ideal -- within easy walking distance of the downtown restaurants as well as the local brewery, winery and distillery. I'm sure we'll be returning for many years to come.

A DiVine Thyme has absolutely everything you could want or look for in a B&B. It has great rooms, delicious food, and a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The hosts, Tom and Cathy, made us feel extremely welcome and we truly enjoyed their company! An awesome time!

Some things that I believe really make this place above and beyond some of the other B&B's are the back deck, the hot tub, and the spectacular views. There is also a winery right across the street. And the accommodations are just really comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend this B&B to anyone and I would love to go back and stay at DiVine Thyme again!

My husband and I decided to celebrate our ninth anniversary in Palisade, with the idea of doing lots of outdoor activities in Colorado's wine country, specifically bike riding, tubing, and roller blading. We chose this B&B, based on an article on the NY Times on bike riding in that area, in which this B&B was mentioned as being an ideal place to stay. We concur! The B&B is only blocks from downtown Palisade, so that we could walk home from a meal that included some delicious local wine. We thought the breakfasts were gourmet and yummy, the place itself nicely decorated and very clean, and the hosts, Tom and Cathy, could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the Suite, which included a cute little private patio.
