“Worth a Stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

Stopped here based on the reviews . Wanted a chopped beef sandwich but all they had was sliced . Glad we tried it. So tender. Onion rings tasted homemade . The only thing i didn't like was the soda. Too much syrup.

“Great BBQ in a comfortable setting served with pride and a personal touch.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

Stopped in for an early dinner on my way back to Santa Fe in the midst of a a 600 mile one day bike trip.
I like BBQ and ordered the 3 meat plate, getting ribs, brisket (both excellent) , and pulled pork (very good). What I found most exciting was the unique array of sauces were offered with the smoky "dry rub" meats. They had two home-made sauces, a Texas sweet one and a Carolina one. Try both...they are very unique! Also, they had a couple of bottled sauces, a Ghost Sauce that I think is their own, and a Tiger Sauce that was Habanero-based and that I personally loved!
They also had an assorted chile and pepper condiment tray that was pretty, very fresh, and delicious.
I was served promptly with a genuine friendliness that made eating solo exceedingly comfortable. And the tasty blues background music was very enjoyable.
Highly recommended!

“The brisket and angus burger was AMAZING!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

This place was awesome all around! The family played a round of mini-golf, then had dinner and watched the kids play on the playground. My husband and I both ordered the brisket and angus burger and wow was it amazing! I mean really good! It was a great meal and a lot of fun. Best bang for your buck in town!

“Nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

We stopped here for lunch on the way through Pagosa springs. The staff was very friendly. The kids had a great time playing on the playground. We sat outside and it was definitely a case of out of site out of mind. The food was all right. We will probably stop on the way though again for the kids.

“Golf and good eating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014 via mobile

Back and legs were complaining about the long drive as we passed the miniature golf course. Thought it would be a good place to stretch out. It was. The folks who did the flatwork on the golf course had a sense of humor. But the smell of the BBQ called us into the tidy, friendly restaurant. We were not hungry but couldn't resist. Very good sliders and cole slaw. Would certainly stop again!
