“Great location, not updated at all”

This hotel has several positives: it is in a great location (an easy walk to shopping and restaurants), a decent pool with two hot spring tubs, and the lobby had complementary coffee, hot chocolate, and fresh popcorn (which was great - it was a cold, rainy day).

However, several things might prevent me from booking here again. The hotel was completely booked the night we stayed, and you could hear it from the 3 pm check-in until late at night. The walls were very thin, and we were able to follow conversations in the neighboring rooms when trying to get to sleep. Doors to our right and left sounded like they were slamming, though they weren't. The room itself was rather dingy and not very welcoming. The curtains didn't allow for very much privacy.

The hotel is too pricey for its lack in quality.

I would like to just say this was one the best motels that we stayed at during our whole trip. From the great smiles at the front desk to the helpful house keeping. It was a little more than what I wanted to pay but it was was worth every doller. Once I found out what they all offerd in their rooms. From the hotsprings to the pool and the hot breakfast. If you get to Ouray make sure you stay at this place

“Great place would stay again, again, and again!!!”

This was a great hotel. Has a great view and in a great location in the small tourist town of Ouray. Had nice warm heated pool outside and one hot spring fed hot tub outside. Also had another hot spring fed hot tub inside a little room for adults only. Kids had great time as did the adults. room was mostly quite after 10pm. All rooms have mountain views and balcony porch with bench which is connected to all rooms( not a private balcony but still very nice). They had jeep rentals for off roading at the hotel lobby and the lobby was very nice and rustic and the woman that checked us in was super nice and tried to help with food even though most things had already closed since it was after 8pm on a Sunday night. It was within walking distance of most shops and the stars at night were to die for. If we ever go there again we will stay here gladly.

The reason that we chose this motel is because of a 20% off coupon for any day of the week posted on their web site.
When we presented the coupon, we where told that the price included the discount. However the price we had to pay was the same as posted on their website before the coupon was presented.

I felt that it was false information and would have cancelled except they already had the credit card numbers and had told us that it needed to be cancelled at least 24 hours before our reservation date.

The motel room was not the best that I have stayed in.

I go to Ouray alot, however I will not stay in the Twin Peaks motel again!

“Our recent stay”

Best Western Twin Peaks Motel

This was probably the worst Best Western I have ever stayed at. Rooms were way overpriced for the quality and size of the rooms. The bathroom ceiling leaked water from the upstairs rooms and the showers were no more than a trickle of water. The advertised 'full' breakfast was no better than a continetal breakfast served in the lobby which had people standing elbow to elbow while trying to eat standing up. The 'hot tub' was a putrid green and looked just plain nasty. Look elsewhere for a room in Ouray CO.
