What a great place to stay. Friendly, helpful staff, nice room, great hot springs pool. What more could you ask for. We took a Jeep Tour up to and above Yankee Boy Basin that was spectacular, all the wild flowers were out in the higher elevations. What a treat. We loved Ouray and hope it never changes into something like Telluride, a place which we did not care for at all.

THANK GOODNESS FOR THE NEW OWENERSHIP/staff! I recently stayed with the Best Western Twin Peaks Motel in Ouray Colorado. I was told they were under new ownership, and it is obvious. The entire staff has smiles on their faces and were more than happy to help us with anything we needed, including making reservations with tours, resteraunts, and shows. We have always tried to stay with hotels with the best ratings possible. They have more ammenities than ANY other hotel in the area. and were willing to go above and beyond to make our stay the best possible in Ouray.
Our room was VERY nice, there was new furniture were needed, our room was exceptionally clean and the maid service made sure not to bother when our sign was on the door. The room had a plesant smell, not of harsh cleaners or mildew.
I would strongly recommmend the Best Western Twin Peaks for you stay in Ouray, Colorado. I just can't say enough to fully express our satisfation.

I just recently stayed at the Best Western Twin Peaks motel in Ouray, CO. I learned while staying there that it is now under new management. I want to congratulate the people who took this place over. After reading other reviews I thought it might be a bad idea to stay there, but it did have hot tubs and a pool, great for my kids. The staff was very friendly (Nathan and Lori a mother son team). I enjoyed the varieties of danish, teas, hot chocolate and coffee in the lobby for my morning snack. The pool was great for my kids and the hot tubs (inside and natural springs outside) were great for when my husband and I needed to realx. The rooms were a good size and nicely priced. The housekeepers were friendly (although I don't think they understood me) and did a fine job of keeping the rooms clean. The only problem I had was slipping when I got into the hot tub. Careful! I am sure, though, that they will take care of that because it can be dangerous. I encourage everyone to stay at the Best Western Twin Peaks for a great vacation, and a good price.

We stayed at this motel for a week while on vacation. While we loved the town of Ouray, we were not happy with the Best Western at all.

The man (owner) running the motel at the time was not friendly at all. He acted like he could care less about having our business. We felt like an inconvience to him.

We were going to rent a jeep from them to save the wear on our 4x4 but, after a poor unfriendly response when we inquired about their rentals, we took our business to another rental company.

The motel and rooms need some updating. The carpet and curtains were old and worn. The bed was very uncomfortable.

The only thing going for this motel is the natural spring hot tub. But its not worth staying here to use it.

We will not stay at this establishment again nor would we recommend it to anyone.
