My husband and I recently spent three nights at the China Clipper Inn, in one of their "premium" first floor rooms. We felt it was a bit cramped. Lots of furniture, but only one chair. (There were two plastic chairs and a table just outside the room, but a cigar-smoking guest prevented us from sitting out there one evening.) Also, we were able to hear the guests above us, and the shower from adjoining rooms. Fortunately, we weren't in Ouray to sit in our room, so it worked out okay. The hosts were very accommodating. Breakfast food was tasty and plentiful; however, not very imaginative. (We had egg dishes all three mornings.) There is also lemonade, wine and cheese provided in the early evening. All in all, a good experience.
