Elegant and comfortable. We stayed in Boulder, Colorado Springs, Vail, but Ouray and the China Clipper Inn was the best part of our trip. The town is great, the innkeeper knowledgeable and accommodating. The Inn has a number of nice rooms, and we looked at several before deciding on ours. It rained the entire time we were in Ouray but it was still a fantastic experience. Go for an upstairs room!

We had a great trip. Our stay at the China Clipper Inn was THE HIGHLIGHT of so many highlights. We enjoyed the hospitality of the China Clipper. The Inn is so beautiful and comfortable, the hosts very gracious, helpful and delight ful. The wonderful conversations with the hosts and other guests sparked more interesting topics among us as the trip continued. Thanks to the China Clipper...... we will spread the word about the China Clipper Inn.

We had a great stay at the China Clipper Inn. The rooms are very comfortable, spotless and very well appointed. The beds are wonderful. The hospitality was excellent and not intrusive. The hosts wre warm and friendly and yet our privancy was well respected. We highly recommend this Inn and will definitely return on our next visit to Colorado.

My husband and I recently spent 3 relaxing and enjoyable days in Ouray. What a beautiful place! We're a bit jaded, as our profession takes us to places all over the world. Typically, we frequent high-end luxury hotels ranging from Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton and St. Regis. We were thrilled that the innkeeper responded to our doorbell ringing at 11:30 pm! Most facilities in Ouray close shop for business around 9:00 pm. Thankfully, our host Trisha (who was certainly in REM sleep) was not bothered by the sleep interruption. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Just lovely. There's really no other place to stay in Ouray if you're looking for a clean, charming place with personality. Hats off to Earl and Trisha! We'll most certainly be back!
