This is a very nice place to stay. Ouray was pretty quiet when we were there at the end of April, but most places were to open on May 1st. The location is great right next to the Box Canyon, and it's magnificent waterfall. We'd like to go back to see the ice climbing, again right next to the inn. The only negative was the breakfast was a bit weak. But the room was clean, and being next to the river makes sleeping really enjoyable. We'll be back.

I have stayed at the Victorian Inn in Ouray ,Colorado on two previous occasions. All my stays there have been enjoyable as the inns room are spacious and clean. On my most recent visit, I was pleased to see the Inn had updated the rooms and added a mini refrigerator for there guests convience. The update made my stay more enjoyable as it seemed almost new. I found the rooms as clean and spacious as I had on my two previous stays and the location is excellent right next to the river. A very good breakfast is offered in the morning in the family room. The staff is pleasant. and helpful, even offering me the last fan from the office to make us as comfortable as possible. I try to get to Ouray regularly and plan on staying at the Ouray Victorian Inn again.

My husband and I just got back from a stay in Ouray.
We were at the Portland Park Suites managed by the Ouray Victorian Inn. Even though we were only there for one night everyone was so gracious to us at check-in. The suite was just lovely, very warm and cozy. I love to hike and there was a fabulous trail just a few minutes walking distance from our suite. The views from our place were spectacular since it sits right up against the mountains.

We had dinner at an Italian restaurant called The Bon Ton which was devine. The desserts were amazing. I'd love to have the recipe for the Bread Pudding!

I just loved that everything was in walking distance from the hotel. My kind of place!

got in Wed. nite no reservations, hotel was good but stay out of this town. hotel, nice rooms, no coffee, no face cloths, lucky I found the storage room to up my supply of coffee and face cloths. Room was noisy and no AC. had the window open and the river behind was loud. Hot tub with beer was great, view was great but the town in general was a tourist trap. If you're looking for a nice place for a sit down meal at a decent price forget it. Seems like the town is run by a bunch of left over hippies trying to make a buck off of tourisim. price 98.00 us., 113.oo cdn.
