We stayed two nights at the Ouray Victorian Inn with our Dog. The room was clean and very comfortable and the people working the Inn were very nice.
The only complaint I had is that we had a first-floor corner room next to the ice machine and the stairs. The first night (a Saturday) it was very noisy until after 11 p.m. with people walking around upstairs. Sunday night was very quiet. If you ask for a top-floor room, you probably won't have this problem.
The hotel is very close to town, we walked everywhere. The continental breakfast is average (and included). You can make your own soft-boiled eggs (we didn't) and they also have hard-boiled eggs made for you. Breakfast is served in a nice sun room that is lined with posters and autographed pictures and maps from a number of well-known mountaineers and extreme-sports people.
This hotel has two very nice hot tubs, which were uncrowded when we were there. Although the sign says the tubs close at 10 p.m., the gate was locked at 9 p.m.
The hotel is pet friendly and there were a number of dogs there during our stay.
The views are fantastic, but there's really not a bad view anywhere in Ouray.
For the price, this hotel can't be beat!
