We had a king suite for $117 (with AAA discount) and thought it was a very good deal for the price. The room had a mini-fridge, fans but no a/c (although we didn't need it) and a small balcony just feet away from a mountain river. It was clean, looked newly renovated and was in good shape. There was a large front room with TV, king bed, fridge, table and chairs and a small bedroom in the back with only a king bed, with the bathroom in between. The back bedroom had a door so the bathroom and main room could be closed off. The only negative aspect was that the room was on the 2nd floor off a wrap-around balcony which was a bit noisy late at night. The hotel is on the edge of town in a quiet area but is just a few short blocks from the main street.

Our stay took place last year but I never got a chance to write a review. Anyway, The Victorian Inn is a great place to stay. The price is excellent for the very nice accomodations and the only thing I felt was lacking was a mini fridge but I see on their website that they have been added.
We originally wanted to stay at the Hot Springs Inn but they adamantly refused to provide a crib of any kind. I am so glad we did not stay there because I did not like the location at all. Right on a main road next to a gas station. You could not walk into town.
The Victorian Inn has the best location- at the end of a side street on the edge of town but still within easy walking distance of all shops and restaurants. We loved strolling back to the hotel with an ice cream cone after dinner.
The hot tubs and play ground were perfectly clean and lovely. The breakfast was simple, but for the price I thought it was fine. It was nice to grab something before setting out for the day.

This is a very nice place to stay. Ouray was pretty quiet when we were there at the end of April, but most places were to open on May 1st. The location is great right next to the Box Canyon, and it's magnificent waterfall. We'd like to go back to see the ice climbing, again right next to the inn. The only negative was the breakfast was a bit weak. But the room was clean, and being next to the river makes sleeping really enjoyable. We'll be back.

I have stayed at the Victorian Inn in Ouray ,Colorado on two previous occasions. All my stays there have been enjoyable as the inns room are spacious and clean. On my most recent visit, I was pleased to see the Inn had updated the rooms and added a mini refrigerator for there guests convience. The update made my stay more enjoyable as it seemed almost new. I found the rooms as clean and spacious as I had on my two previous stays and the location is excellent right next to the river. A very good breakfast is offered in the morning in the family room. The staff is pleasant. and helpful, even offering me the last fan from the office to make us as comfortable as possible. I try to get to Ouray regularly and plan on staying at the Ouray Victorian Inn again.
