For $3/adult you can access Box Canyon Falls. There are two trails, one up to the trellis and one down to base of the falls. The trip up was strenuous with a lot of stairs and uphill climb. The view was pretty neat from the trellis.

The best view was at the base of the falls. The trail was easy, with metal staircases at the end. The roar of the falls was almost deafening! We took cover from the rain storm that was occurring at the base of the falls. Definitely worth a visit. It's an easy stop - we spent less than an hour there.

This spectacular natural wonder is amazing to all of your senses. From the moment you enter the city park for a small fee you will be greeted by the resident greeters, the chipmunks. These little creatures are everywhere and you can purchase a bag of goodies for them for a small amount. These friendly little creatures will come and eat right out of your hands.

As you make your way to the falls you first hear the magnifecent sounds of cascading water that has formed the box canyon falls. Then you are suddenly aware of a drop in temperature as you are sprayed on a hot summers day by the mist of the falls, the falls are so refreshing on a hot summers day.

Then comes the magnifent view of the falls themseves falling from atop of the gorge straight down at your feet..Your senses will truely reel at this manficent GOD made wonder. A must see while in this area
