“Nice Buffet Vegetarian Buffet after Skiing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

This place hits the spot after skiing. It is a nicce vegetarian diet m may be some chicken here and there..all medium spicy for the most part. You can get it spicy from the menu. Went there dozens of times and the buffet doesn't change and it is very consistent. The hungrier you are the better it tastes after skiing. The other nice thing is that it is very inexpensive and you can walk out there for less than 50 bucks with a family of 4 or 5,

“Not as recommended”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

Boulderites raved. I had the buffet. A couple items were good, but most did not have a lot of flavor. Disclosure: most recent experiences for comp are Indian restaurants - but I have been to Nepal.

“Yummy!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

If someone had told us that just outside of the Rocky Mountain national park we would find authentic, delicious Nepalese/Indian cuisine, we would have been quite skeptical.... However, that was exactly what we found. Having travelled from Virginia on a cross country road trip of the National Parks with pizza and burger loving kids ranging in ages from teen to toddlers, we (the parents) were delighted to find this gem of a restaurant. Loved the diversity of items on the buffet. We loaded our plates and thoroughly enjoyed this culinary treat...and to our surprise the kids liked it too!

“Indian & Thai Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

We had a buffet lunch here and while the ambience is severely lacking the food was plentiful and good. There were many choices on the $10 lunch buffet but they did not keep it restocked quickly enough for the more popular items. The interior was part gift shop and part restaurant and quite shabby, but with ample seating which stayed quite full. Staff was efficient but not very friendly, just down to business.

“Funky, comfy atmosphere. Tasty, Nepalese style Indian food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

This is a FAMILY type joint. Seriously, kids might be running through the restaurant kicking soccer balls around and yelling. It happens. But it's really cozy, there are a number of booths, and the food is good.
It's a Nepalese family who've owned this restaurant FOREVER. So the "Indian" food has a decidedly Nepalese twist. Some may find it less sophisticated, but I like it. Some dishes are strictly Nepalese. My favorite is the momo platter, which consists of delightful vegetable dumplings served with a spicy tomato dipping sauce.
The saag paneer is great. It's served more "country style" than most, and the spice is perfect. The cheese naan is very good comfort food after a hike.
The only things I haven't enjoyed were the buffet (lacking spice), the korma (too sweet), and the gulab jamun dessert (just off-tasting). Everything else is great, and they have good beer on tap.
