“Local Mexican place to go!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

This family run business has been operating for several years and the standard of food is solid. It's tasty, inexpensive and the margaritas are good. The patio is heated so is pleasant a good part of the year-even in Coloado.

“Great local place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013 via mobile

Great ambiance, service was awesome, but the food was just Okay. The place leaves some room to be desired, we'll definitely go back since its a nice place and close to home. You can bike or walk there from the Sante Fe Trail. Plus it's good to support local business'. The tacos and enchiladas were decent, but the chili rellano and fajitas need some work. I think fajitas are better made simple. There was way too much sauce, keep it simple!

“Great place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Not sure what the young lady is talking about feeling like they were discriminated against - not at this place!

Meanwhile, always good, great service - the Morris Family does it right!

“Good happy hour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013 via mobile

We stopped in here for a couple of drinks and apps while watching a football game.
The chips and salsa were pretty good, the queso was good (nothing extraordinary, but good).
My drink was great (a vodka/lemon something...), but the margarita's were surprisingly not great (especially since the servers had tshirts bragging about having the best margarita on Front Street). Weird.
Based on the chips and salsa we were tempted to stay longer and have dinner - it seemed like the food was pretty good! Pretty sure we'll be back for dinner at some point.

“Not your typical mexican restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

This restaurant is good if you like a little twist on typical mexican fare. Food is good, not too spicy with a little New Mexico twist on the entrees. Service is good and atmosphere warm. Can be a bit crowded on the weekend.
