We stayed here while visiting family and exploring the Montrose area. Check-in was efficient and the clerk was professional, but we weren't offered any warm cookies upon arrival. The room was quiet even though it was situated next to the pool. There was no view to speak of. Someone else's med was lying on the floor. It looked as though the place hasn't been that well maintained but that the inn is trying to play catch-up with newly painted walls and shower curtains. None of the four lamps matched however. The bed was covered with a heavy bedspread that we threw off as soon as we arrived, and was hard enough that we didn't roll into each other and . All in all it is a decent enough place to spend a night, but not much else to keep you here longer while exploring the Western Slope of the Rockies.
